The Dark Knight Rises Which vehicle do you want to see in the third one?

I'd like to see a huge Batcave the size of ****ing Texas. Full of catwalks, computers, an underground river and a huge garage with tons of different prototypes. Some finished, some unfinished.
I'd like to see a plane, a boat, a few versions of the batmobile, a few motorcycles, etc.
He doesnt have to use them all. He can just use what Nolan intended. But it doesnt hurt to have a big batcave full of toys.

And yeah, put the goddamn T-Rex in the goddamn cave.

Me too. I'd love to see a fully decked out Batcave in this next movie. It's likely to be the final installment in Nolan's series, I'd really like to see him go all out on a Batcave Set Design.

The batstep:yay:,Okay seriously i want to see the batwing.:brucebat:

not a vehicle...but i would love to see some of the famous bat-relics show up in the new batcave. Like the T-rex or the giant penny :) even if its just something in the background (i.e. caps shield in Ironman)

edit: just read Mr. Earles post up above...ya, sign me up for some of that :awesome:

I'd like to see the Batmobile back and have the start of the batwing.

Here's a manip of the old tumbler with a bit of lamborgini.

I'd love to see the batcave with an entire mainframe, a few cars, a plane, ps look up a VTOL, mix that with a stealth bomber, bing batplane, a two seater, small for one or two man insertion and pick up behind enemy lines, it also has an advanced ai, and can enter uav mode, or control operated mode(from batcave or universal bat remote).

I would love to see a smaller sleeker batmobile, as well as a tumbler v2, and a revamped batpod.

Above all I would love to see batman being batman, maybe he could even throw a batarangs this time.

I like it kinda reminds me of the back to the future car in a way. I like it but it just looks like two cars together, it doesn't look like one car.

The Bat-Wing just doesn't make sense in Nolan's films, I have a hard time taking it seriously elsewhere as well, I can't see it or the boat making an appearance. The only reason I accept the Batpod is because of the circumstances that created it.

Batman doesn't really need anything other than the Batmobile in the Nolan films, it is powerful both narratively and visually, so much so that its distruction threatens Batman massively and weakens him in the eyes of the audience. The Batpod as an escape/temporary vehicle makes sense but as a long term replacement it makes him too vunerable. Nolan and co say this themselves and stated that they created it to give a sense of weakness and vunerability to Batman - with the tumbler they made him too well defended. It all depends on when the next film is set, if its straight after TDK he'll probably have just the bike, if however it is a half a year gap like from Begins to TDK he may have replaced the Batmobile off screen.

That said, I am in the camp that next film wants to see Batpod and Tumbler side by side in the cave. With the cave design halfway between that of Begins and the bunker in TDK. I - like I am sure many others - cling to the throwaway line in Begins about multiple Tumblers.

However, I can see that the visual of him on the bike ties into the themes presented at the end of TDK - being chased, exposed and weakened - more so than him smashing around in a tank as he did at the start of the film, at the height of his effectiveness. I can see him only having the bike in film 3.

well said! one of the more rational posts that i've read in regards to nolan's series. i agree with everything you've stated. i too would love to see more of batman's toys on film, but with the theme nolan has set in motion i think its highly unlikely. unless it serves a real purpose, not just eye candy.

i remember when the first pictures of the tumbler surfaced. i loathed it. to me it was not the batmobile. but after seeing its purpose, and function it made perfect sense, and has grown on me to the point where i think it has to be one of the best interpretations made, comics included. now i defenitally think they have room to improve the design, and they allowed freedom to do so by destroying it.

as far as a boat or the batwing, i just don't see a practical use for them unless you're taking batman outside of gotham. but who knows maybe they'll do just that. he's already vacationed in hong kong.

I really dug the batpod, especially in the end, because it just seemed rather horse like, like a really kickass high tech mount for a modern Dark Knight, along with a very armour like batsuit. Like I could practically imagine him jousting on that thing

I love it except for the Tumbler back end!,I'm a big fan of the Tumbler But I think I would love a lambo/ferrari or viper car mixed with that armor from the pics.

I really wan't the Bat-Pod to return But maybe different tires and/or just added gadgets!,As for a whole new vehicle....

I would agree with the Bat-Wing But I think I would also really enjoy a boat chase scene with a Bat-Boat and have it transform into a mini submarine type of thing.

This looked stupid the first time I looked at it. Then I blinked and looked again, and suddenly it was freaking sweet. This would make for an awesome Batmobile 2.0.

Nah I think it looks dumb.

i like the way it looks in profile but in the front its a bit off.

If they go with the Batboat I think they should consider going with a design reminiscent of the boat Pierce Brosnan pilots at the beginning of "The World is Not Enough."

if they go boat then go for the batman looking boat, lol.

Check out Gotham Tonight. :cwink:

Also, you said that you only accepted the Batpod because of the circumstances that created it. Do you seriously doubt that they'd have acceptable circumstances for a Batwing or Batboat as well? C'mon now.

Plus, the Batpod was actually pretty random.

CS/SHH!: In terms of the vehicles you have the Batmobile you have the Batpod, do you have any desire to see the functional aircraft or other vehicle?
Crowley: I'd quite like to do a Batboat. I like the water. I'd much rather design a Batboat than a Batplane. The Batboat from my perspective is achievable whereas the Batplane isn't very. But a Batboat would be fun.

SHH

Gotham has waterways, a harbour, a river and it's on the coast. Traversing by boat means he doesn't have to negate obstacles such as pursuing GPD cars. :cwink:

I like how you and Mr. Crowley think. Batboat it is! :yay:
