It's not even worth getting into, b. If people are thinking that what we've seen is what we'll get with a fictional aircraft piloted by f***ing Batman then there's truly no hope for them lol.

i am disgusted that some humans on this forum were expecting a prop hovercraft flying fast and high above the building of Pits. what the f... is this?
so lets make this very simple. the chase scene will be longer and more epic. for ground flying they used a real Btwing on a f. car. the Imax camera is filming the the close up with batman in frame. for wide shots they will use a CGI vehicle.

so again...............it will not only hover above the ground. they are only filming the parts when its on the ground chasing the big bomb truck FOR REAL. with a real vehicle. all the other shots it will be CGI. thank you and god night.

he has a f... jet behind the batwing. for what? to make big noises? this vehicle in the context of the movie can fly very fast in the air. but for hovering and street flying the vehicle doesnt use the jet. its using the front to go left and right. Batman will nto destroy the big truck from the air with a rocket. this is Gotham. he can not risk killing someone. so he is going low to destroy it on the street.

This is where I think the rotors would go, half way along the main body section there's a pair of little spikes side by side which could support two intermeshing rotors.

If you notice I haven't discounted the possibility that the new Batwing has still unseen capabilities I'm just trying to peice together what we've seen so far. Lol they're not in a bunch. It just seems obvious that with practical shots of a batwing we won't see its capabilities. We'll see what it looks like but that's about it. That's all. Surly you can see this?

That's one theory and valid one as well. It's very possible but from what we've seen so far it looks as tho the Batwing is made for slower lower altitude flight. In order to fly at higer altitudes with faster speeds I would think that it would need (and i'm no aereal engineer btw) bigger wings, a tail, and less prawn undercarraige. But like I said perhaps it is possible come final product time.

What a strange contraption, why not just drive in the lower vehicle? Unless it requires more than one body to operate. Maybe Robin will be in the film after all..but more than likely that's Fox driving the lower vehicle.

Because this thing can (and in the film will) fly higher? It isn't a hovercraft a la Luke's landspeeder, it is a flying vehicle.
