I figured the thumbs up to be corny. I suppose if it were another character, like Marty McFly, I'd find 'thrilling' a more fitting word.

The Batplane turning into a sub is right out of the 50's comics.

When you think about it, that's not very different from the Batpod launching from the self-detonating Tumbler.

But just for the record, just cause something comes from some point in the comics doesn't automatically mean it's necessarily a good thing.

And how could anyone not like the Batskiboat?

I thought that was pretty slick, yeah. Nothing wrong with this sort of thing if Batman needs it for something, but I'd prefer something more based on underwater travel and staying hidden.

I LOVE the batwing in B'89 and the boat in Returns.

But I did not like them in BF at all. The batwing felt really tacked on and I did not like the design whatsoever(as opposed to in B'89 where the batwing was sleek, simple, and cool). Same for the batboat, I did not like the design of the boat. My biggest problem were the lame fins- which was the one of only two problems I had with the BFmobile. The floppy fins were incredibly stupid.

And this is coming from someone who likes Batman Forever way more than most people do.

I was talking about Batman toys in another topic and was reminded of this toy that I had as a kid. It was a batcycle that converted into a little batjet. The reason why I bring it up is because Batman rode it like how he rides the batpod in TDK. The illustration on the box cover shows him kneeling huh but you can see from the little pictures on the back how the actual figure rode it. Just thought I'd share.

This also causes me to realize that the batpod would be so much more awesome if it could fly!

i had that "laser blade" toy and all those batman variants (and that penguin) on the back of that box. ahh, memories.
