Which version of hulk(visual style) do you want

Nice.

thanks...

why does the hulk not have hair on the side of hes head?

I always thought that cos the Hulk skull is bigger, when Banner transforms, his hair however remains the same volume, and thus covers less area.

However, this theory is thrown out the window depending on the artist.

Which do people prefer? A normal cut? or the pudding basin?

That explanation has been put forth before and still doesn't make any sense. So his entire body, skin, musculature, bones, organs, etc all grow in size but the one small area of his scalp containing hair doesn't? Rrrrrrright. No fricking chili bowl. One thing Ang got right in the first movie.

Regarding the pants. Nothing can explain that one.

True, unless Reed Richards gave him pants made of unstable molecules, which I'm sure happened at one point or another in the comics.:cwink:

I want hair like they had for ang's hulk, but not as neat, needs to be abit more messy, I want the hulk to look like this

Honestly, the CGI Hulk in the last movie was just about perfect--the only change they need to make to the basic design would be making the Hulk's face look more like Norton instead of Bana.

Physically:
1. I don't want a 20 ft tall Hulk. That's so contrary to the comics.
2. With additional anger, the Hulk should get THICKER and more ripped, not actually grow taller.
Mentally:
1. If Abomination is going to keep Emil's intellect, then I DON'T want the Hulk to keep Banner's intellect.
2. If Abomination is stronger than the baseline Hulk, which is true of the comics, then I want Hulk to competely go savage to grow stronger and defeat Abomination.

This is still my favorite look for the Hulk. More ape like.

For me as long as he looks bigger then life within range such as 9ft and muscular, I would be fine about it. Regarding the face, I thought Ang's version was fine but i would not mind if it looked a bit more primitive.

The thing I am worried about is the Abomination who should look truly monstrous.

I prefer a more classic, neanderthal type hulk than one that looks like Edward Norton.

So we haven't heard of how the hulk will actually in terms of style I thought he looked great in ang lee's film. But maybe now they want to do a more comicbook like version of hulk So the question is how would you like the hulk to look like in the film

All these pictures are didferent artistic variations of the same generic hulk design. This desing take sthe basic prinipals from all the different hulk variotions from over time into one generic look, features not to distorted and monsterous, not quite as beastly as earlier depicted, not quite as frankenstien esque as its original incarnation just human enough but the artist usually always makes up for it in muscle tone and size, very generic. These examles don't really express the evolution of the hulk from different alternate marvel universe hulks.

The statement is kind of an oxymoron any if you think about it. These being different artistic variousions of the same hulk which couldnt translate into actual life anyway.

ang lee's hulk looks visually fine...

reasonably right size, right look, right amount of muscle which still gave the character some fluidity...

unfortunately by overbulking him, he then looks somewhat slow...

i don't mind the abomination looking incredibly bulky but i don't think the hulk should.

his strength is defined by rage, not necessarily by the size of his muscles. he doesn't have to look as strong as he is.

WELL SAID

I think what we're gonna end up with is a HULK similar to the first movie except a different shade of green (that stays one color) and a size (8-9') that also remains consistent. I do think though that he'll probably have a more sinister look to his face. He should also be a little more toned, especially when more angry. The first HULK wasn't even as ripped as the bodybuilder he was modeled after (Priest). He is 0% bodyfat so he has to be ripped!

Absolutely spot on, both of you. 1. His color and height will be consistent. 2. He will be around 9' tall. 3. He'll be more ripped 4. His face will be more intimidating

LOL!!! That interview was GREAT! Thanks guys... This will be indeed, something special, I can feel it!!

Honestley I found he original hulk design was to cherubic . They over compensated in trying to give him an exppresive grimace, it back fired and he looked very cartoonish. The texture maping wa great, they did a great job of making something unrealistic appear to be made out of flesh but the main point was obviously lost in translation.

These are my favorite. Classic savage Hulk with a bit of Neanderthal mixed in.

It's funny I see people keep saying that hulk needs to not be as emence around feet tall . During my findings on the internet I came across this, the precise reason he should be large and not 8 feet tall.
