1990:
Goodfellas
Home Alone

1992:
My Cousin Vinny
Lethal Weapon 3
Home Alone 2: Lost In New York

This is a ******ed poll. Goodfellas and Home alone are obviously better movies than the 92 year, but i think his best year was when he was first discovered by Scorcese in Raging Bull.

Why  Pesci has been around for 26 years, but only five years have really stood out. In 1980 because of Raging Bull. In 1989 because of Lethal Weapon 2. In 1995 because of Casino.

But, 1990 and 1992 were his two big years.

Why? Well, because he was an Oscar-Winner for his performance in Goodfellas. And, he played the villain in the highest grossing film of the year. 1992 was another big year for him! Two of his films were the top 5 grossing films of the year. Home Alone 2 was the 2nd highest grossing film and Lethal Weapon 3 was the fourth highest grossing film. PLUS, My Cousin Vinny is EASILY his third best film. That movie was awesome!

1990. Because Goodfellas and Home Alone are two of the best movies ever.

I wouldn't call Home Alone one of the best movies ever! But, it is indeed a classic!

I was purposely trying to be a bit over the top, but yeah, it's a classic. And it's also the first movie I ever saw, so there's the whole emotional value for me.

Has to be 1990 for Goodfellas ...

Every scene he was in felt tense ... his character was a time bomb waiting to go off, he made you feel nervous ... quality acting.

i would have to agree that Goodfellas was the best year.
you hear people quoting "like funny haha? what am i some kind of clown here to amuse you?" allllll the time.
RARELY do you hear anyone quoting anything from My Cousin Vinny.
in fact no, i'm going to go with no, i've never heard it done.

but true, i'll give that you a LOT of people say "they **** you at the drive tru", and we could credit Mr. Pesci for making that world famous, i guess, if you want to get technical about it.:o
