Given his knowledge of the X-teams, I always thought Cyclops would make a great X-Foe.:cyclops:

I also see a lot of evil potentail in Psylocke and Bishop.:cmad:

The thing about Cyclops, is despite being a good "lead by example" figurehead, he kind of does what he is told a lot. Sometimes to a fault. I think this is why all those elseworlds where he and his brother are working for Sinister work so well.

Gambit. I only wish they'd move foward with that but I feel they are going to try and redeem him now that he's returned

Screw that, they just need to off him and be done with it. Card puns and angst don't make for good villains.

Nightcrawler's got some real potential as a bad guy. We got a taste of this in AoA where his teleportation was put to gruesome use.

I would've liked to have seen the original story for Gambit to play out where he betrays the team.

Thirded on Gambit...he works better as a massive dick.

Well not so much that, but a suave, charismatic, prick.:o

and a little moral ambiguity to round it off.:ninja:

Jubilee. You know it's true.

Lol. Eh. I like what they are doing with her in New Warriors. She's growing up and proving to be an actual better leader than Luke Cage and Rogue.

Banshee should return as a villain.:o

I disagree. He should return and build up some popularity on a fringe book like Madrox has been doing. PAD could kick some ass with Sean.

he already has Sean Jr with Siryn...she is everything her father is/was...but with boobs and a vagina

is this the part where we burst into song?

Gambit. Not permanently, but he can use this chance to redeem his character.

That's why we have those alternative dimensions where some of the X-Men are villains, but I hope next time Marvel does something like this they will use more/other X-characters as bad guys.

But no matter how awesome their evil doppelgangers are, I still like the 616 ones best.

Indeed. They should totally have one with most of the popular guys as evil. I mean, a Gambit w/testicles, a Wolverine thats a bit more vicious (And isn't the resident 'father figure' for little girls), and a Cyclops who doesn't need a visor, etc. They'd still have some of their trademark characteristics.

I mean, if we're talking an alternate reality here, might as well go with it.

Thats something that really annoyed me about the Ultimate line. Al the characters were exactly the same plus or minus a few piercings/soul patches/ orientation flip. AoA did the whole "Alternate reality" thing much better.

Cool. I haven't kept up with New Warriors. I'll have to check it out.

Jubilee is the leader of New Warriors? thats...actually..kinda interesting

tis true...Banshee was actually a GOOD character. very likeable...dont know what the hell happened to his daughter

The part-time thingy was about Syrin.

Banshee's great. Wouldn't say he *rocks*, but definitely gets my approval overall.

Back to topic

Cyclops: I guess they could parley his knowledge of the X-men and their tactics into an "I knew what you were going to do before you did" angle, which would be pretty cool. The X-men would have to rely on telepaths to take him out(unless he seduces them of course :word: ) since he can pretty much "zakt" any of the others before they can do anything to him.

Wolverine: Despite all the hype around this guy, he's pretty low on the totem pole and simply doesn't rely on anything more complicated than "run at them and start swinging" in fights. A single energy blast would be enough to put him on the ground(temporarily at least).

Storm: Can cause destruction on a massive scale. Telepaths can't do much to stop her(thank you Claremont), powerhouses can't reach her, blasters might be able to tag her form a distance, but their best bet lies in an emotional appeal.

Rogue: Anyone with a decent grasp of strategy will be able to draw her into a trap and bring the hammer down. But they'll have to do it before she can bulk up on people's powers.

Gambit: Meh. He'll just blow his own face off again.

Colossus: It's telepaths or nothing.

Good, but ultimately disposeable. And for the last couple decades they've been half killing him off.
