Which X-Men villains wouldn't work for a sequel? I would say right off the bat: Arcade, Mojo and the Brood.

in my opinion shadow king- but if its storm-centric then i could be wrong.

Actually Arcade and Mojo could be translated but in the Ultimate Sense that is.. Would be plausable for a sequel that they bases it on genosha and that a tv station is exicuting mutants to stand without trail. Would have charactetsr like longshot, major domo, chaz n dave, mojo and arcade.

I don't think that storyline would be epic enough for a movie.

Sugaman, oh my god! How horrible would that be!!:wow:

Apocalypse and his Horsemen would need a strong plot to translate into the films!!:cwink:

Sinister and the Hellfire Club would be an easier transition though.

Mojo = never. It looks more like a Ninja Turtles movie.
Apocalypse would be kinda hard to translate to a movie...specially having the realistical view we got, I fear they would tone down the character to a super-powerful mutant, forgetting all the Egyptian, mythological thing...

Unless they made some changes (Cyclops not being dead, etc.), villains like Stryfe would be difficult to do.

Most villains would work if made more 'human' and more realistic.

The Brood were Claremont's rip-off of Alien, so those would be a no-no!

Characters like Mojo or Arcade could easily be toned down into secondary villains asked to trap or test the X-Men.

Apocalypse and Sinister could also work. You just need to think in terms of what we've seen before in the movies and apply that kind of logic.

Sinsister won't work. They need to stay away from more characters that won't be explained fully, and only effect a certain few.

Apocalyspe will work cause he effects the X-men as a whole, where as Sinster, by himself only targets the Summers'.

I wanted to see FoH, especially in the first movie where it would have made sense to have them.

Hellfire Club: maybe

I would like to see Nick Fury as a villian, instead of forcing Wolverine to work for him, he could be after the children for involintary work.

The Shadow King would be great to see to expand Xavier and Storm's characters.

Stryfe [and Cable] could never work. There is too much. Even if you revised their characters, they'd be -INOs by the time you were finished.

Any villian could work. The movie universe is radically different from the comics, so therefore Sinister could not have any weakness to the Summers powers, or Cable could just be some mutant freedom fighter.

PS: No Fenris please.

It depends on the concept of the movie, on how Mojo and Arcade would work... Think of it this way, the concept of x-men 4, heres an idea, after the events of M-Day aka the end of x-men 3, a major political debate occured causing the fractions and a devided between how humans view mutants and mutants view humans, feeling isolated and using a giant grant from the goverment, They create "THE ISLAND" a hidden oasis created by the dharma initiative "Joke" created by the goverment as a safe heaven for a mutant community to exist without fear from redicule of humanity. a home they call genosha

However, despite the wonderful mutant offer, there are still those who are willing to start a war, and having all the mutants in one place makes them a bigger target than ever.

The Friends Of Humanity declare an all out war against mutants by using one of the most infulential media's to turn people against mutants. Enter Mojo addams the obbess tv excutive, his aim is to capture the true nature of mutants by creating a documentary show to show how hostile mutants can be. After a prevoked attack by the friends of humanity, Mojo manages to capture Beast although defending himself, in the wrong context looks like he is attacking mutants. So what happens, Iceman has to step up as the new x-men leader to try and amend and uncover the true nature of the friends of humanity with the aid of the x-men. and to stop another war from occuring. But who is arcade and what is Murder world?
