World Good X-men video games?

I remember a good game i had for the Mega Drive but i cant remember what it was called. It had a silver foil cover and you could play has either Cyclops, Wolverine, Gambit, Beast, Nightcrawler, Psylocke and Magneto.

That was X-men 2: Clone Wars.

Also if you liked Children of the atom, marvel super heroes, x-men vs street fighter, marvel vs street fighter, marvel vs capcom or marvel vs capcom 2:

X-men mutant apocalypse, and Marvel super heroes: war of the gems for SNES are made by the same company with similar sprites and moves but they are platformers/beat em ups rather than fighting games.

Juggernaut actually has a bucket on his head, and Magneto has a beach towel for a cape and sunglasses.

wow.. who let that happen? smh.. glad i never even attempted to play that game.. wasnt very impressed with the ui at all... and i wonder why Children of the Atom never had any cool tricks or codes aside from being able to play as Akume.. like that was so great.. lol

X-Men for sega genesis has to be mine. I remember playing it for the first time and thinking, man this is so cool...then i played the nintendo X-men. Man i hate that game, made me want to break it.

Oh I still have mine too, bust it out every once in a while. And no, i haven't read the game reviews, probably won't either. There are enough good X-men games out there that i can feel fine about hating that one.

hey their finally gonna have Marvel Vs Capcom 2 for download on PS3 network pretty soon!!! if only they would do that for X-men COTA....

and how come they never had any of the fighter games i just mentioned with Beast or Archangle?? I always wondered why they excluded them from any fighter series but put in that corny Sentinal, Spiral & Silver Samurai lol i woulda def got rid of those 3 n put in Beast, Archangel & maybe added Gambit and Mystique

That would be a bit excessive.

I actually quite liked the mix in COTA. Throw in Gambit, Rogue and Sabretooth from Xmen vs SF and it would have been perfect.

yea and how about adding Beast, Bishop, Archangel, and add in some more villains like Death Strike, Strife & Sinister would made it more fulfilling imo but now they can def put ass many more characters.. i would like to see them make it those DBZ games for ps2 & 3 now those games r cool!

I love that idea but it will most likley never happen. Theres more interest in a MvC3 than a sequel to CotA. I just wish someone would release another X-men game. Im getting tired of the Marvel Universe ones swooping in and taking all the focus with the X-men being left in the dust

well then they should at least add the ones i mentioned in a MvsC type setting... but i think with the nex gen consoles they can now actually make a good X-men game complete with a full roster, there should be no excuses.. i mean just imagine how bad ass the XMO:W game woulda been if it had all the x-men in it as well and the bosses were all our favorite expected X-villains.. i see no reason why not.. even if they did a SF style X-men fighting game it would be awesome to play on a ps3 or 360.. tell me no lol but i still think id LOVE to see them do a X-men COTA 2 or a MvsC3 where its the same game play style as the DBZ games with all that free roaming destructible environment.. lol

Just to toss in something different, I liked the old Spider-Man/X-Men: Arcade's Revenge game for the SNES. Some of the levels kinda stunk (Wolverine) or were just frustrating (Storm), but thinking about the Gambit and Cyclops levels still makes me giddy. Not bad for something that early. I really enjoyed X2: Wolverine's Revenge too.

Love the XML games! The NES X-Men and Mutant Academy 1?; not so much.

I couldn't figure out why nobody mentioned this.

I couldn't beat wolverines or storms, the only two I couldn't beat..

Spideys, cyclops, and gambits were mad fun though, it was a good game.
