Hollywood needs originality now more than ever.

After You People which was honestly pretty forgettable, I definitely don't have high hopes for this, but I never really did anyways considering you just can't replicate what worked so well in the original.

Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson's chemistry is what made that movie so iconic in the first place and based off that teaser/trailer I'm not feeling any of that in this with the two leads.

I'll give it a chance since I've been looking forward to this remake.

This will probably end up being one of those awful remakes of movies nobody will even remember. Like Point Break, Total Recall, Red Dawn, Jacob's Ladder, Flatliners, etc .

I admit it doesn’t look horrible but still not as fun as the original. You can’t replicate Wesley and Woody’s chemistry. I wonder what they will use instead of Jeopardy.

The flamethrower bit still isn’t as funny as the original

The premise itself should have been reworked. Some white dude dressing like a dork would get him cracked on, but the idea that being white would have him being underestimated to the point where he's hustling guys out of money is outdated. But that's Kenya Barris for you.

This was all kinds of awful and might easily be one of the worst so called comedies I've ever had to sit through in some time which is saying something because I've seen some rough stuff over the years.

If you just want to watch a really bland, generic, soft, waterdown version of the original film where your two leads have absolutely no chemistry than go right ahead, but it's a huge waste of time IMO.
