Zombieland 2

This was the most fun I had in the movies in a while. That **** was ****ing hilarious!
Agreed. That's the most energetic i think Ruben Fleischer's direction has been since the original.

This was a fun movie, basically a lot more Deadpool-ish humor as you can tell they just came off that flick with the self awareness and fourth wall breaks. My entire audience was rolling at most of the humor, and I have to say Zoey Deutch was the ensemble dark horse of this flick, that character was just so goofy it was endearing. Also I want that Dragon's Lair t-shirt Columbus was wearing.

This flick was ****ing hilarious and I'm glad it was on par with the first one.

I also want a Law & Mordor shirt now.

Going to see this tonight can't wait. Watched the first last night in preparation and it still cracks me up.

First movie had Emma Stone at the peak of her hotness (imo) also.

Had lots of fun with this, returning cast were great, new additions were also. Zoey Deutch as ‘Maddison’ was superb and some really good belly laughs to be had. I really hope they don’t make us wait 10 years for the threequel but will wait if it’s this good. 8/10, a good sequel to the classic original.

I saw it last night, it was okay. It was quite entertaining though it didn't really stand out to me, I felt like the story was quite simple and I wish there was more. I like the new blonde girl, Madison.

My main problem is when they showed Columbia Pictures at the beginning, something happened in there that made me so nervous. Like I was legit scared for seconds. They gotta stop doing that or at least give the audience a heads up, that its part of the movie, as I seriously thought someone was making trouble inside the cinema and that seriously made me nervous.

This is comedy gold :pal:

Well I'm one of those people, who is actually concerned in going to theaters these days.

If you aware of what is happening in the world, then you shouldn't make fun of people having a moment of being terrified inside a theater.

Normally, I'd try to downplay this sort of alarmism, but I get it. You have crowds stampeding out of theme parks and Times Square now. Since Aurora, my peter-tingle has gone off a few times in a theater (in SF and ATL, for reference). My trigger seems to be the projector going dark, then the emergency lights coming up.

Yeah, but also have context of what movie you’re watching. Zombieland is all about gunplay so I would assume the film would have that sound over its soundtrack.

The part Psy is referring to doesn’t have any gunplay, but it’s a horror comedy about Zombies, expect a few jump scares.

Name 5 movies with a jump scare during a logo sequence. I seriously can't name one.

Also, that zombie was in a silhouette which threw me off fyi and this movie barelyhad any jump scares ssincethat bit in the start. This is Zombieland anyway not some dark horror movie for me to expect jump scares from the moment they showed the lady in Columbia Pictures' logo. But I guess that was so funny isn't it?

Yeah, I just took a look online to see it. Maybe it’s different in the theatre, but this being an R-rated horror comedy about zombies that gets meta, I thought it was pretty funny. I’m not sure about horror, but there’s been many instances in comedies where they play around with the opening logo for fun.

I thought it was a fun little gag personally and I laughed in the cinema.

As said above Zombieland is known for meta comedy, I didn't expect it but found it pretty funny in the cinema and hearing your story about it just made me laugh more.

You don't have to take it personally but knowing you from here and your take on comedy just made your story all the funnier. Sorry if that offends you.

Saw it a couple of weeks ago and rather liked it and found it a good way to pass a Saturday afternoon. To me, the funniest parts of the movie were watching Emma Stone's facial expressions when listening or talking to Madison. Just her sitting in the back of the car and saying nothing with a slight narrowing of her eyes got me laughing.

Not as good as the first, but I did still enjoy this quite a bit. Zoey Deutch is hot and funny as **** and I also really liked Dawson's role in this. The chemistry between Harrelson, Eisenberg, Stone and Breslin was still on point too even though not all the jokes landed as hard as they could have IMO. The finale was pretty weak compared to the first movie though, but my lawd did the Bill Murray stuff have me ****ing rolling at the end lol. I also loved the opening with the Columbia logo, but I can see how the suddeness and randomness of it could put some people off.

7/10

Saw this again at home on 4K, enjoyed it even more, so happy they managed to make such a good sequel after waiting so long.
