Who could beat the Silver Surfer?

Alot of characters are capable of beating him, but only a handful would take a majority. Marvel characters anyways. I can think of alot of non-Marvel characters that would eat him for breakfast.

Such as? He's pretty high powered by DC's standards too, though I don't know about most characters from companies other than the big two.

Well, he absorbs most forms of energy, can manipulate most forms of energy, can see lightyears into the distance, can actually attack people while exceeding the speed of light, can literally pick a successful fight physically with an enraged Hulk, transmute matter, and even travel through time, as well as "read" time. There's just not that many people who really compare to the Silver Surfer aside from Skyfathers, Thanos, and super cosmics.

Yea hes high powered by DC standards as well, but when you include characters from anime and video games, the list gets a bit larger.

Seriously underestimated as usual, I appreciate you pointing this out before I was able to. Fact of the matter is that you caould make a list of people that can beat just about any number of characters but for some of the upper echleon, that list gets alot shorter.

Silver Surfer is one of those guys.

Yeah, that was really good. Later in the Silver Surfer series a Doom bot did the same thing.

Cable did well against him and I think Sentry could beat him....or atleast fight to a stand still.

I wouldn't be surprise if Doctor Doom ended up claiming Silver Surfer's power for himself in FF: Rise of Silver Surfer.

This can easily beat Silver Surfer, moral.

Surfer could destroy almost everybody. He can go back in time!

He can go as fast as "fast" allows, until he reaches "hyper-space" where it's possible to go even faster . . and um, he does go even faster at that point.

He can manipulate molecules and there's even been debate that can create life (though he never has)! I can't think of anyone short of Galactus who could take the Surfer.
