Who do you predict/want as the next Spider-Man villain?

I always change my mind on this stuff, but I think at some point in the next few films we should see Kraven, Mysterio for sure. And probably intro Norman and Harry at the very least.

Expanding on my groundbreaking (kidding) idea of a roster of B-list villains working for a mastermind but faced one on one by Spidey: what if each one was utterly superior to Peter in one singular aspect?
For example: Rhino is stronger, Speed Demon faster (d'oh), Shocker more clever, Scorpion more agile, Sandman more endurable and so on...
It would work to showcase Spidey's ingenuity and resilence.

Vader is a Knight. Thats like being a soldier fighting for your military. He's not a villain at all. He's a soldier who switched sides because he believes that side was better. At least that's how I see it.

Doom is like a King with the attitude of a god. The fact that he enjoys doing evil things is what makes him bad but I don't really see him as a villain either. He's an impulsive arrogant King too smart for his own good and he acts like it. So ya, I guess we could really argue about this one. I'm not up for that doh.

Toomes was a criminal but not a bad person. He didn't kill or try to kill anybody he didn't think was unnecessary to kill. He was a blue collar thief providing for his family. In fact, from my memory the only times he killed or threatened to kill anybody was when others threatened the protection of his family.
This isn't an evil person. Not even a bad person. He's a criminal, ya but that doesn't make one evil/bad. He doesn't enjoy doing bad things. He just happens to do things that are illegal. To me that's not a Villain.

This guy makes the Punisher look like a villain.
Illegal arms dealers are definitely villains, it would be one thing if he stole forbidden tech and then sold non-lethal tools to criminals but he was selling things that were more dangerous than RPGs and then selling them to local hoods at that

I think Mac Gargan's Scorpian is going to be the villain in some capacity. Although I can't see him being the main villain.

What I hope Spider-Man realise is that they don't need to use the staple villains like Doc Ock or Green Goblin. Spider-Man imo has the second best rogue gallery in comics so they should go for a fresh villain who hasn't appeared on the big screen.

My top 3 picks

1. Kraven - For a number of reasons, Kraven's Last Hunt obviously being a big one of them. Holland's spidey still looks like he has a way to go to reaching his full potential so sticking him up against someone without traditional super powers means they could show off more of the mental chess game between the two rather than the usual over the top cgi.

2. Mysterio - Totally the opposite to Kraven if there was ever a character who would thrive in a cgi and effects heavy world would be Mysterio.

3. Aliastar Smythe - An odd choice I know but Norman Osborne has been done enough for now so what about Smythe. It's not a stretch to imagine that Scorpian & Shocker will both feature in SpiderMan 2. What if Smythe is trying to set up the sinister 6.

I like the idea of Smythe and the Spider Slayers with Scorpion as the villains.

No, I don't see it that way.
To me thats like saying you're a villain for illegally downloading music and forbidden to sell it. That makes you a criminal but not necessarily a bad person even if you're selling to people who are.

Is it wreckless and misguided?...Yes of course.

Kraven or Mysterio.

I hope for Kraven first, then Mysterio in the third film. Spidey's not quite ready for him yet.

I'd say Mysterio. Since film is a visual medium, the filmmakers can do a lot of neat visuals whenever Mysterio uses his powers.
