She does suit the blonde best, but that doesn't mean the makeup department can't do some magic with her.
If she was cast as MJ and doing all the modelling, we wouldn't be complaining.
And besides, are there any real gingers that beat Margot with the fake ginger hair?

That's clearly after she hit the gym or went for a jog. You can find unflattering pics like those of any actress. Seriously, off all the actresses listed, I think her looks are the least debatable. I've seen people complain that she's far too good looking for Garfield.

I didn't mean to purposely find a contorted picture of her to make my point. In general, as I'm sure you're aware, there are very few pictures of her with red hair.

I'm just trying to imagine her based on the photo of her with copper hair and the one I posted. The thing is, I think she looks significantly younger without a lot of make up, and that's what Garfield needs by his side. I would be highly in favor of her if she was with Garfield and he was able to keep some facial hair, but we all know that won't be the case with him playing Peter.

Many are debating that he's starting to look a lot older, but aforementioned by myself, I think he can still pass as someone in his mid-twenties. I realize MJ has to be someone who's mature, but that can be portrayed more in her mannerisms compared to her looks.

Besides, as much as we like to speculate, the producers slightly adjusted Gwen's personality to fit their road map for the series. Therefore, I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same with MJ.

I'm just commenting on the ones that I've seen here and there on the boards.

Besides, it's a tough one because there's just not that many actresses with red hair that I can see as MJ.

Edit: I could see Emma Stone as MJ if she wasn't already Gwen.

Well, apparently Emma Stone is playing Mary Jane, they say its been set in stone, no pun intended. Its cool, I hoped to see someone else in the role but I guess they couldn't let Em go.

I wasn't too fussed who they went with anymore myself, I just hoped that MJ would help allow Peter get over Gwen as a friend. Then hint at something towards the end.

I don't think they're that desperate. If they did put stone as MJ they'll be ruined for sure.

They know the movie's greatest strength came from the chemistry between Andrew and Emma.
Despite TASM2's flaws, it was that, that shone through.

But the rumours are silly and I don't believe in a millions they could be true.

Yeah, he'll be 33 going onto 34 which will be pretty weird but as long as he does a great job of playing Peter and Spider-Man then I'm fine with that. It's nice to see the actor "mature" and age over the films (as the story progresses) as well. Tobey Maguire kinda remained the same throughout the Raimi trilogy.

That's because he was in is mid to late 20's when Spider Man 1 hit. By the time Spider Man 3 hit he was in his 30's. The scene where he is in college with Gwen looks hilarious now because of how old they both look playing college kids.
