Jason Todd: beaten half to death and blown up by the Joker in Death in the Family and Batman:UTRH.
or
Tim Drake: tortured, brainwashed, disfigured, driven insane and made into a vessel for the Joker in Batman Beyond: ROTJ.

Oh wow, has nobody talked about this before? If not, what a GREAT question.

I'm gonna go with Tim Drake, because psychological torture is always worse than immediate death, IMO.

I'll have to go with Tim. When I saw BB: ROTJ for the first time I can't believe that Joker actually did all those horrible things. That flashback scene was just heartbreaking.
