Who has the best look in the DC universe?

I'm a fan of hal jordans costume, as well as good ol' superman!

so here is a tough question. Does DC have better costumes/looks than Marvel?

Lest we forget the ladies...Donna Troy's version of the Wonder Woman suit keeps all of its good points while updating some of the more..."campy"...elements.

You're a fan of Jim Lee's crappy redesign.
Why does a Green Lantern costume (made of energy) need straps?

I know, it's as about as useful as the dozen or so pouches Cyclops and every other superhero used to wear, but I just like the design. I'm not saying it's the best, but it appeals to me.

Why does Kyles original Ion costume need straps? Because it looks cool.

Jim Lee is an artist, Kyle Rayner is an artist. Is it wrong that they might have similar tastes. Plus Kyle is a child of the nineties, so if his costume ends up resembling one from that time period, I won't blame the guy. Plus I think it's a lot better than the old one. But that's just my oppinion.

Don't ask me why, but I like Animal Mans costume for some reason.

I know its a total fanboy costume, and she is the maxim girl of DC, but I can't help it. Power Girl's costume is a guilty pleasure.

Nightwing...very cool

I also think any costume that has been drawn by Ed Mcguiness always has a cool cartoon look which makes the costumes looks better especially when the muscles are bigger.batman has always been a cool outfit too....

think they should give MM abit more to wear to be honest and maybe change prometheus' helmet to something alittle cooler.thought that Steel's outfit is cool too

I am also a huge ed mcguinness fan. I also enjoy everything he does.

RAVEN REBORN

Among the female characters I just can't help but like this look the best. Maybe it's because I'm predisposed to liking the look of Mystics and goth style.

As for the male characters...

Another great costume by McGuinness

I like raven too. She has a good look. I like the mysterious, moody hooded style.

The Bat Family
I don't think any other comic's family (Fantastic Four, Cpt. Marvel, etc.) has a look that is distinct yet unified.

Alan Scott
Incredibly unique and eye-catching. The first time I saw this hero I wanted to know who he was.

Death is awesome, but Delirium is where it's at.

In terms of character, or in terms of look? In both cases, I'd say they're equally good in their own ways. The obvious greatness of Death is that she's a reaper figure who, unlike most reapers, loves life, and wants people to be alive and enjoy it. Delirium just adds much needed humor and cuteness to the otherwise intelectually thick series that is Sandman. Also, Death has a great sense of style, and Delirium's ever shifting, ever chaotic look suits her perfectly. As I said, it's a tie.

Fantastic design--I wish all the GLs had that look. I'd also choose:
