Lets rename this thread who is stronger hulk or superman, and just say that supes would punch a hole right through the green guys head!

I was doubtful about creating this thread given the DC vs. Marvel premises, but after reading arguments from both sides.....

I am glad I did.

BUT sorry. I will not make this a Superman vs. Hulk. I won't do that to the Marvel or DC fans in here. Plus...that is a debate I do not want to get in touch.

It's like comparing jackie chan to jet li. I Will never do something like that. Although I have my personal opinions.

Thanks to everyone who has posted so far.

And for the Haters of this thread out there " You make your mother proud!"

Wizard Magazine #81 from May 1998 featured a Last Man Standing story with Savage Hulk vs Doomsday... and Doomsday won by transmitting the poison from his bone claws to slowly wear the Hulk down over several days, eventually killing him.

I have to disagree. Hulk is the strongest one there is. The madder he gets the stronger he gets. I think Hulk could break Doomsday's bones and destroy him in the end. But I'm a Hulk fan, so I'm kinda biased. :bh:

Why was this thread moved here? Come on Mods, just give in and give us our Hulk world forum to talk about all things hulk related.

The mods moved my thread??? Why wasn't I informed... I just noticed that. I didn't put that here.

Ok that does make this kinda biased.....

Please move back.

I've actually thought this would be a good fight for a long time. I'd actually planned to draw up a page for this month's hulk contest. Don't think i'll have time, though.

If you have the time, I would like to see that.

This thread is everything that is wrong with many of the users on this site. Who gives a damn?

I mean, even besides the fact that there's no way of ever getting a solid answer, who cares? Those of you who have taken a serious part in this debate do realize that you're arguing over whether or not He-Man could beat up Superman, right?

This one took me a while to decide, but i believe Doomsday would defeat ANY incarnation of the Hulk, from the comics, both movies, anything.

I have read comics based on both characters, and Doomsday is just a monstor, he defeated the WHOLE Justice League, and then still had time to kill Superman, who i believe is a lot stronger than Hulk, so Doomsday for me.

You read the TIH comics...hmmm i kinda doubt that.

Superman is not invincible...he draws his power from the our sun and yes, the bullet to the eye was not going to hurt him. On Krypton he is a normal guy. While the Hulk can get cut, he regenerates while Superman does not. On DD vs Hulk, you are in for a rude awakening. Read on...

If you look at the Hulk's bio, you will notice they have him listed at "off the charts" on strength, speed, endurance, energy projection and skill. The Hulk possesses the potential for limitless physical strength depending directly on his emotional state, particularly his anger. This has been reflected in the repeated comment "The madder Hulk gets, the stronger Hulk gets." His durability, healing, and endurance increase in relation to his temper. The Hulk is also extremely resistant to most forms of injury or damage, including physical, psychic, environmental extremes, and is immune to disease and poisons. His powerful legs allow him to leap into lower Earth orbit or across continents.
Doomsday on the other hand..... possesses extreme physical strength that even rivals that of Superman, at one point enabling him to effortlessly stand his ground against the entire Justice League (I remember the Hulk beating the Avengers), including Superman. He was able to break Superman's left arm with limited effort, as well as outmatch and beat Darkseid unconscious in physical combat. The bad part is...despite his ability to adapt to any attack, Doomsday is not invincible. A blast from Imperiex reduced him to a skeleton that killed him, Doomsday's body was recovered in a joint venture between Lex Luthor and Darkseid, and was spliced with Kal-El's DNA (re-creating him). Giving him greatly improved intelligence, being able to communicate and analyze in regular manner, and displaying a form of flame-breath. The drawback being that he no longer was free of fear, due to coming so close to truly dying, with almost nothing left to regenerate from, and displayed no signs of his former evolving ability, enabling Superman to defeat him for the first time.
The Bottom line is Doomsday has been killed numerous times, re-created and has a cap (limit) to his power. He is also vulnerable to That little green rock that gives Superman fits, lol. The Hulk has no such things. The Hulk's power is limitless, hence giving him the eventual win. Hulk is the strongest one there is. DC has not created a character to match him. Marvel beat them to this punch.

Yeah they have his name is Doomsday...he is a Hulk wanna-be.

Hey Tom, is it hard to hear all the way up there on that high horse?

*looks at watch. Waits for inevitable, obligatory, snarky, yet "I'm innocent" reply*

Rule number 1 for a peaceful, troll repellant forum: Never ever bring up a versus thread involving Hulk. The moment you do....the Hulk fanboys begin to cream their jeans and contact all their other fanboy friends so that they can all come together and chant "Hulk is the strongest there is" over and over.

For in their minds, Hulk could whoop on guys like Galactus and Eternity. It is a debate you can never win.

Rule number 2, not good to insult Hulk fans in their own forum.

if doomsday can't be beaten by physical attacks anymore than does it really matter if the hulk's strength outgrows him because his mightiest blow would just be as effective as his weakest.

According to EmeraldBeast's post on Doomsday:

Doomsday's body was recovered in a joint venture between Lex Luthor and Darkseid, and was spliced with Kal-El's DNA (re-creating him).

If that's true, and Doomsday can no longer evolve to become resistent to forms of attack that defeat him in prior fights, then Hulk will have a field day with him.

Doomsday will get killed by the hulk. Hulk has unlimited strength.period

Midnight Black's thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moderators chose to put this here, I'm guessing because of the first relevant word.
No bias on my part......but I know who I think would win, but I didn't know all that much about Doomsday (evolving, becoming resistant with each fight) other than his fights with Supes.

Glad to hear from both sides.....

I see a vast difference between fans of HUlk and those who lose their minds in fanboyish joygasms over the character.

A fan can read the comic or watch the movies and enjoy them and yet acknowledge that although Hulk may be the strongest and gets stronger the madder he gets, he is not in the same class as quite a few other characters.

The ones I refer to, those who typically do just as I described, are a whole different level of fanboy. Ones who exude nut juice over the very mention of Hulk and in their geeky assinine minds figure Hulk could stomp down guys so far above his level they would barely pay any mind to him.

Has everyone forgotten the Amalgam fight between Hulk and Supes where Hulk lost? I'm as much of Hulk as the next guy, but I remember that. I think it should have been written where Supes lost due to the anger = strength thing, but I can understand that strategy-wise, Supes is smarter.

That was voted for by the fans, they had to vote for who they wanted to win and supes won, nothing to do with who would actually win in a fight.

The only problem with your arguement in this thread is that some of the hulk fans here have justified how and why Hulk would beat doomsday with solid facts. It isn't fanboyism if the arguement can be justified, being a fanboy would be something like 'Hulk is the strongest, he'd beat anyone, anytime, anywhere!' without backing up that statement with any facts.

I doubt you have read many Hulk comics.
Explain how Doomsday would win? One punch and Hulk is out? Hulk just waves his hands and says, "I'm give up?"
And your quote about Superman being a lot stronger than Hulk deserves its own thread, that tips off your loyalty right there.

A Doomsday fight would make Hulk drool. No strategy, just straight punching.
I think Doomsday would give him a good fight but I doubt Hulk would have much problem.
Remember, Doomsday is their copy of the Hulk.

Well thats funny because i only started reading Superman in 2006, yet i have been a Hulk fan all my life, so if anything, i'm more biased towards Hulk but facts are facts. Superman HAS MOVED PLANETS, yet is **** scared of Doomsday, what does that tell you?

Doomsday beat Darkseid unconscious, when, and i think most would agree, Darkseid would beat Hulk. So Doomsday definately.

I seriously doubt Hulk would last long enough to get angry enough to compete with Doomsday honestly, i love Hulk, but from what i have seen of both Doomsday would win. Hulk has been knocked out by Juggernaut and The Abomination in the past, both of whom would be beaten down by Superman and especially Doomsday.

Doomsday kicked the **** out of Darkseid, who would beat Hulk, Abom and Juggernaut.
