Tought question. I would have to say, someone who is willing to sacrifice his own life for those he professes to care about. I don't like Superman. Period. But he did sacrifice his life in the fight with Doomsday. However, how often are heroes actually laying it all on the line like that??? I suppose, another measure would be those that sacrifice small pieces of themselves (ie, impact it has on one's personal life-love, friendship), to what degree do these ones sacrifice an otherwise "normal life", stopping to smell an occasional rose while still maintaining some semblance of balance?? Ghost Rider would have to be included in that number, wouldn't he? What about those that are considered outlaws and hated by the community in general and still keep fighting for what's right? Spider-man was an outlaw long before civil war. The X-Men would certainly qualify...Here is my choice(s): 1) Spider-Man
2) Wolverine
3) The Sentry(the guys battling a mental
disorder and marriage on the rocks)
4) Captain America(I'm not patriotic, but
gotta give props to a guy doing it that long
and standing by his convictions)
5) Superman (he died for planet earth)
You could put these ones in any order.
6) Ghost Rider
