To be plain, I find it slightly humorous that many were actually offended by my discourse with Varient. It was as if by their inability to comprehend "big" words or the actual posts themselves was some inditement on their own intelligence. So instead of simply just seeing the posts for what they were, which was an aspiring writer simply having fun with a fellow articulate speaker in a verbal repartee, they were seen as some grand attempt to make others look small, or something equally petty and small.
