In the spiderman movies there are alot of charecters who in the comics become or make villians. Dr. Connors and his missing arm become the Lizard,JJJ son becomes man wolf, and last JJJ makes scorpion and the spider slayers and the aperance of venom could mean Carnage. Do any of guys think because of these charecters their villians are going to be in a spiderman sequel? I mean it happend with Harry.

number one... there are threads just like this, that deal not only with SM4, but 5, 6 and etc... there's no need for another one...

number two manwolf is just too weird for a movie villain.

just saying, that there's really no need for another thread like this.

no offense to what i said before...

and i don't know how to lock a thread... i can't...

lol You say this like if theres massive amounts of new threads on this board everyday day, like if it was the Spider-Man 3 Spoilers board. Who cares, nothing much going on this board.

Anyway I could see Lizard and Scorpion in future sequels, but definitly not Man-Wolf.

well, maybe you have a point. :P

I can see Lizard, Scorpion, Venom, Carnage, Sandman

now just hold one, and listen... let me explain:

LIZARD: I don't think Sam Raimi is stupid... he knows for like 2 movies, people have been wanting Lizard to be the villain. Now I don't think for a second that he's gonna wait another movie after "3".

SCORPION: JJ hates Spidey. Scorpion's such a good villain. I think Sam realizes those two facts and also realizes that by now JJ MUST have at least thought of hiring someone to take Spidey down...

VENOM: 10-20 minutes is not enough time to have Venom on the screen. Sam, no matter how much he hates Venom, knows adding him in a 4th movie will bring in the dough. And also, it doesn't make much sense to bring in one of the biggest villains for only 10 minutes and that's all.

CARNAGE: Ok, I think he'll either be in the 4th, 5th or not at all... If Carnage is gonna be in the series then I beleive Sam will at least wait until the 5th, possibly 4th. But it doesn't make much since to wait until 6th with this character... you need at least two movies to introduce him and have him terrorize people, etc. It'd be kinda like he killed off Doc Ock in 2nd, if he introduced this character in the 6th and then killed him off. Carnage at least needs 2 movies.

SANDMAN: I personally think killing off Sandman in 3rd would be a bad idea. This is a very in depth character. If anything, have him make a cameo at the beggining, and have him killed early by Venom. OR another idea would be having Sandman finally see the error in his ways, and then try and become a hero, and then before he has a chance to do good, he's killed by Venom. But really Sam may kill him off in 3, or he may bring him up one more time... either way, I can live without this character in 4.

MANWOLF: Haha, no...

:P

Well Doc Ock only got roughly around 30mins of screen time (including the scenes before the accident I believe), so Venom having 10-20mins really isnt that bad, especially since Eddie Brock will be fleshed out throughout the movie.

well maybe so... but i whats this their saying "the symbiote won't return for a 4th... at least not as Eddie Brock."

i read this in an interview... aparantly hinting Carnage.

That is good carnage rocks:woot:

You do realize that in order for Carnage to be in a movie you need Venom in the same movie. Carnage was spawned from Venom. You may be right about Manwolf though if John Jameson goes on any space missions you never know what he might come back with. Besides if you were John wouldn't you want to do something to Peter for stealing your fiancee. Did you realize that Dr. Conners is playing the wrong role in the movies.

Oh yea cause you know that motivates John to accidently get a ruby lodged to his neck and transform him into a werewolf and loose all free will.
To answer your question, no for a couple of reasons:

One, Peter didn't steal her or for that matter anything really. MJ just ran away from the wedding, inidcated she didn't want to be with John.

Two, John isn't a shallow basterd like his dad. He realized she didn't want him. He obviously was dissapointed sure, but hes a goody good celebrity/astrounaught, he'll get over her.

Did you realize that Dr. Conners is playing the wrong role in the movies.
Eh what exactly are you trying to get at here?

the thing is with the lizard is that with venom fullfilling the toothy monster role the original toothy monster with a crisis of concious has to take a back seat. which is why i always wanted venom to come after the lizard in the movie series. it would have fit the comics progression closer to the time's in peters life when those villians were relevent.

and the thing is we are really running out of big game players. if you have carnage are you going to go the maximum carnage route. if so you need shriek or a shriek substitute aswell, other wise your missing the whole natural born killers type dynamic. and it would be too violent if done anywhere near properly anyway.

the goblin kills strom, his own board and the people at the test sight each is handeled with momentary fantasy violence or is cut away from with the implication of death. other than that he puts lots of people in a position to be killed but fails.

doc ock kills his surgeons. and then mistakingly risks the cities safety.

they're both a far cry from the successful antics of carnage. since all he does is kill or attempt to kill and it's not based on anything other than he likes killing. and with his power not being able to do want he wants to such a degree would be ludicrous.

venom is spared from this by the personal vendatta against spider-man. and if carnage had the same it's a retread.

so what vilians actually afford the possibility of a good movie that they would actually make and with different powers and treat potential. that's probably what sam raimi asks himself.

i can imagine a mysterio and scorpion or spider-slayers combination. since mysterio can make spider-man look like a threat enough for the creation of a means to get rid of him. he do it so he had time to fullfill his own plan undisturbed.

the lizard and electro are big enough to fit in somewhere. but i'm not sure how they would work in combination. and it would be strange to go back to one villian if they weren't on the same standing as GG or ock. even their stories were balenced with spidy's origin and the descent of harry.

any more villians that are actually feasible and are movie scope threats. any classics i'm forgetting that stood the test of time? perhaps hobgoblin. more goblins might not be the best idea. rhino is too one note. blackcat, cameleon , vulture, puma, kraven, don't seem powerful enough. so combination some how would be needed.

As I have said many times before for SP4 I would love to see Mysterio, Lizard or Scorpion.

Vulture and Electro are good too but I would still pick one if the first three mentioned.

As long as the villain is one of the old school ones I'll be fine.

:woot:
