Who should play lead in Buffy remak/boot-thing

I only voted for Kristen Kruek because she knows martial arts, as it is evident in 'Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li'. But I don't think that Joss Whedon would ever re-boot/re-imagine 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer'.

1. It's too early, the series just ended, what, like 7 years ago?
2. SMG, David Boreanaz, and all the other cast members did a superb job on that series. Whedon would be a fool to mess with that.

I feel that it is waaayyyyyy to soon to reboot Buffy. Save that for sometime in the next decade. This is the kinda crap that makes me hate studio's.

With that being said, Kristen Bell should play Buffy in a reboot, with Ben McKenzie as my early choice for Angel. Not as tall, but he can nail the character.

They could always just make a movie about ANOTHER Slayer.

This brings up a question I have for die hard Whedonverse fans. Was there ever any episodes involving Shifters? I know there wasn't in Angel, but I forget if Shifters were used in Buffy. They used every other type of supernatural being, but I can't remember any shifters. I'm trying to come up with my own Whedonverse fanfic, which I have stalled on multiple times, and I would like to have one of my main characters be a shifter.

this reminds me of the Bryan Singer reboot of Battlestar..of the 70s into a movie adaptation. YOu're gonna isolate the fans.

No-one. If they want to make a "Buffy" movie, get Joss Whedon involved and he can try to revive Sarah Michelle Gellar's career.

But, that's not going to happen, so I'll say Amanda Seyfried for the "new" Buffy.

None of the above. It's way too soon to reboot buffy anyways. That's like doing a new version of a song just after it's been released.

As for who should play Buffy? I say wait 5 years and give the role to Dakota Fanning.
