And for those who don't want an actor who PLAYED a gay role in a movie need to grow up.

Wesley Snipes was a drag queen and was still a kickass Blade.
Clive Owen played a gay jewish man and he still got Dwight's character down.

I don't think Tobey will leave the role up until movie number 6 or so. But the person who's gonna remplace him it's gonna have a hard time beating his performance. I see Tobey like Reeve from the Superman movies, you just can't picture anyone but him playing the role.

Movie 6. That's quite a lot, especially when I think we'll be (un)lucky if we get him for 4. It'll been 3 years betwee Spider-Man 2 and 3 and the time between Spider-Man 1 and 2 was 2 years. I'm not going exponentially, so the average of those is 2.5. 2 and a half years between every movie. Let's round up to 3 to be fair. Every two years is pretty fast for movies to come out. When the 6th one comes out, Tobey will be 40 years old. A bit old for Spider-Man don't you think?
