Yes X 1,000,000,000!! There are already so many female comic book characters with flirtatious personalities and revealing costumes. Does Supergirl HAVE to be done in the same manner? Can't she be the "Maid" of Might? And more importantly, does anyone think Supes would let her go out and save the day in the outfits that they've inflicted on her these past 15 years or so? I mean, even Timm just had to put her in a belly shirt in the DCAU.

I'm no prude by any measure, but I don't want Kara to be sexualized in any way. There are enough eye candy female/male fantasy heroines/villainesses out there already. Can't Kara be a young person without being a "hottie" sex object?

Supergirl is supposed to be a teenager. I find it creepy and skeevy when some comics artists play up her sexuality. Also, I still haven't heard a reason why she would be bad in the movie.

Agreed, Marling looks and acts as if she was born to play the role. And if they follow the prequel comic, Kara is portrayed as older than other incarnations so it could totally work.

You didn't mistake the the question for being about who you want as a girlfriend?

I suggest Saoirse Ronan if they go with a stunningly beautiful, but innocent, version of Supergirl. But what if they want the character to look somewhat non-human?
