Who should the villain be?

With Fant4stic 2 coming in June of 2017 (most likely) be getting a new villain. Who do you want the villain to be?

I would like Namor, the Submariner, but I don't think we will get it.

Yeah I wouldn't mind seeing Namor as the villain who later helps the heroes. I doubt Fox would make him the villain though. Fans have wanted to see Namor for years now and they might want to capitalize on that by having Namor team up with the F4 to face a bigger threat. It could also lead into a spin off.

Namor is his own property. He was with Universal. Take him off this list.

Feige confirmed last year that marvel mostly got the rights back to Namor from Universal

So idk of they could technically use him or not.

I think the first film will be an origin for Doom, and it'll end with him overthrowing Latveria while the F4 are dealing with the larger threat in the N-Zone (what Domaschev warned Reed about when he was strapped into the chair). Then, Doom will be the main villain in the sequel. I think that could be cool

Hmmm tough I wanna save Super Skrull for a X-Men/FF: Shiar/Skrull War film.

So Annihilus will be a suitable replacement. Save Galactus for the sequel to X-Men/FF

So Anihiilus is def not appearing in this one? That's not good. Was hoping that they would just build Dooms character this film and that he wouldn't be the main antagonist (as he was in the last 2 films).

My view is the Skrulls. Establish the connection between the Fantastic Four and space. If they want to continue with a slightly darker tone,* there can be a bit of a paranoid alien conspiracy aspect since you're dealing with shapeshifters. Finally, you can add Super Skrull as the threat at the end.

* Although to make it really dark, keep the original solution of brainwashing some Skrulls into thinking they're cows for the rest of their life.

The only problem is this: One thing the Skrulls did was impersonate the Fantastic Four in order for the public to hate them. I'm not convinced the first movie will make them appropriately liked enough for that to work. Maybe save the Skrulls until after that's been established.

They'd have to convince Mckellan to return to the role because of the time period of the new FF, but that would be a killer team up! Kinda gives you the chills when ya think about it.

I'm hoping they introduce Galactus in a silver surfer film before he takes a main villain role, but yea that's what I'm thinkin to

Mole Man might be the villain for the sequel. Me, I want to see Annihilus and Blaastarr but that could mean that they would do the N-Zone again?

And oh we are not getting Namor... I wanted him for the 3rd Tim Story film but Fox doesn't have the film rights for him.

Fox has none of the rights for him. It's possible Universal still has distribution rights, but that would be distributing a Marvel-made movie.

I don't know how could they do Puppet Master... I mean they could introduce Alicia Masters with him but as a main villain for a film? I don't know.

Wizard should be introduced with the Frightful Four.

Since they've indicated they take place in two different worlds, the Negative Zone could be a portal between the two alternate earths, so that could make sense . . . if it's ever going to happen.

Oh it could! I think they're just playing it as standalone for now and then if it performs well and people like it, they'll start making x-men world connections in the sequels and such. That definitely would be a good way to go about it though
