Here is a thread to discuss who we like to write the next chapter in the web heads adventure.

Here is a thought I was just thinking. Regarding a interview bendis said not to long ago. When asm 1 was in production he was asked by sony exec organic or mechanical shooters and he was the deciding call on matter.

My question is if they have any spidey writer on board as a consultant or what not. Who would folks want. Bendis, slott, someone else?

What is that writer known for?
Kick-Ass, X-Men: First Class, Kingsman: The Secret Service. All of which are movies I'd like to see Spider-Man 2017 be similar to(in terms of tone).

Whoever Marvel decides is the best person for the job should write it.

I think Dan Harmon would be a great outta left field choice

Well with Feige stating he like with work with mckay on another film. Maybe toss him in the mix too.

That actually might not be a bad choice. I think hes more likely to write/direct Spider-man than Inhumans as is rumored. Spider-man fits his tone better

Totally I be fine with him him on spidey. He has a better grasp on comedy. Has done a few films. So he would be right on Par with like Jon fav was before ironman 1.

Ohh good shout. Goddard and Greg together would be a dream.

They go togetha' likah ice & cream

but seriously they'd be a wonderful team

Together they would blast a genius beam
on the script page, the next spidey will be all the rage

Go spidey Go spidey GO
Go spidey Go spidey GO

Nolan to write+direct with James Cameron

Bryan Cranston to play Spider-Man

With Spider-Man there needs to be a blend of sophisticated nuanced writing mixed with levity and humour that isn't too on the nose. A very hard balance to strike but these two would be the perfect guys to give it a try.
