Should batman curse?

Straight forward question. A man that fights the scum of Gotham can go really be expected to have a mouth as clean as a priests.

I know the studio might have a hissy fit about it but i think he can throw out a little profanity, minus the F-Bomb of course(because of the PG-13 rating).

Your thoughts...

he should totally curse . . . a goddam here, and a shyt there is only realistic; Frank Miller's Batman curses . . . . plus it's PG-13; the studio just doesn't want kids going around sayin "Oh Shyt, it's the Joker" just cuz Batman did . . . .

He should recite all of Samuel L. Jackson's dialogue from Pulp Fiction. Better yet, they should just get Samuel L. to play Batman in the sequel. That could totally work.

they could get Samuel L to play anyone in the next Batman and I wouldn't think anything of it....

he could play Alfred and if someone would say.....why is he playing Alfred?...

I'll say..well, didn't he play Alfred in the last one?

re: NO....

me: wow you're ******ed....the end..

Batman on a Plane.

After just watching Batman '89, I want Bale to do a less over acted Batman voice :) But he could throw one or two minor curses into the mix. Nothing big :)

The only curse word I'd tolerate from Batman is "damn," or "goddamn." MAYBE a "sh**," if it fits into the context.

Anything else is unnecessary. If I wanted Batman to curse, I would've backed Samuel Jackson for the role.

"Dont you know who I am? I'm the Batman, *****!"

I don't see the point really. Just because it makes him "grittier"? Nah.

"what are you dense? are you ******ed? i'm the goddamn batman!"

whatever, if he curses he curses, im not going to stop him, but i don't want them to do it just to do it ether

and the begins batman was immensly effective and he did not curse, if 2's batman is just as effective then i could careless if he swears or not, because he won't have to

i agree, id only accept a curse if he were SEVERLY damaged. worse then in begins. If someone in particular broke his back id expect a gasping **** or something, lol, but batman shoudl remain silent. he can get through it with will and strength. regular grunting is all thats needed, lol:up:

Batman does not need to curse. He handled Ra's, Falcone, Zsazz and Crane pretty well with out that.

I don't think Batman would ever need to swear to frighten somebody.

Wait, has ever Batman sweared in comics? so no.

That's pretty much how I feel. Maybe a "son of a b1tch" or two (Jack Bauer style) but nothing more than that.

nah, there are far better ways of being intimidating that using language, i've always taken the animated approach that actions speak louder than words.

swearing is unecessary and i feel kinda an easy way out.
