I see topics for favorite Autobots and Decepticons but I want to know which character was your least favorite? For me, it was Jazz. I honestly thought the movie could of been just as good without him. His voice and the way he acted annoyed me.

I totally agree. Jazz is my least favorite because I didn't like his voice or the way he acted and the movie would have been much better without him. As for Decepticons, I can't really decide.
Bonecrusher is cool because he has that awesome shot where he crashes through the bus on the freeway, Starscream is cool because of the long shot where he transforms back and forth while taking out the jets in midair, Barricade is cool just because of his terrifying voice in that one part of the movie with Sam, Blackout is cool because his scene in the beginning of the movie is super awesome with all of the weapons he unleashes against the military base that causes so much destruction, and Scorponok is cool for many reasons, you can probably guess them all. :3 While none of the Decepticons really have any personality in the first place, I guess Devastator would be my least favorite because you never really get to see much of him in the film.

Jazz is probably me favourite in the movie, dont know how you guys cant like him.

As for least favourite, probably Ratchet for me.

Bumblebee. Never liked him. Never will. Don't know why.

I don't know why people have to like him. Jazz was my least favorite autobot and skorpinok was my least favorite decepticon. They could have made jazz seem African American with just a good voice, they didn't have to turn him into an 80's break dancer, all he was missing was some MC Hammer parachute pants and a red Micheal jackson leather coat. And "whats up little *****es" not only was it stupid, it was totally out of character for the Jazz I remember.

I liked blackout and all but, isn't there enough decepticons from g1 and other transformers' series to come up with a name instead of just making up a new one, because I can not for the life of me find anything about a transformer named blackout aside from movie blackout. Please correct me if I'm wrong tho.

What, thats totally in character for Jazz, he was always a black stereotype, hence the name. If you didnt like him fair enough, its just rare when someone comes along who didnt like him because on here he was very popular in the movie.

Its not the black stereotype that is outta character. I'm talking about him saying "whats up little bit****", I don't ever remember him being an a**hole. Thats the reason I didn't like him in the movie. It was a dumb pointless thing to have him say. I thought they were going for a "black" stereotype, not a "jerk" stereotype. Unless they are saying black people are jerks. To put it into context, it's like he was saying "I'm here to help you... you little *****es". Other than that I though he was alright. It's like the writers had a brain fart. Hey we should make Jazz say something totally unneccesary(sp) and off the cuff so he seems like he doesn't like anyone. Plain and simple , I thought it was a very dumb thing to have him say but thats just my O

When Jazz said "What's crackin', little *****es', he wasn't being an *******. You clearly misinterpreted the whole thing. Not to mention his compassion for Bumblebee when he was captured. Yeah, what a jerk. :whatever:

He wasn't saying it like he meant, he was teasing them with their own slang. Does he talk like that throughout the rest of the movie? No, aside from his last line which can be seen as slang, I wouldn't say his "What's cracking" line really represented who he was. He was one of the most compassionate of the group. He was concerned over Bumblebee and he took on Megatron to protect the fleeing bystanders. So at least say you didnt like him cause he said lame things like the "whats crack.." line not because thats how he acted.

Exactly, he wasnt calling them little *****es to offend them, he just thought it was the way humans talked to each other, it was just a little snapshot comment in their own language.

And out of all of the Autobots, Jazz was the one who put himself in harms way the most for his fellow Autobots and humanity. Plus, he was the only one to argue with Prime about the fate of Bumblebee.

Haha, guess that goes to show people how we may come across to others. :whatever:

I know this has to have been said 10000 or more, but it just kills me that Rachet wasn't an ambulance. Each of the characters was off in their own sort of way, but I feel like people would have understood his significance more if he was an "obvious" rescue vehicle.

...I don't think I'm explaining my feelings very well...

My least favorite was definitely Starscream. I know he's supposed to be an important character, and I'm sure he'll be more prominent in the sequel. However, I hated the way the CG artists made him look, he was way too big and bulky. Plus he was only in the last 20-30 minutes of the movie and really didn't do much other than fly around and shoot a couple of missiles.

I didn't mind Jazz, I think it's pretty pathetic that he got ripped in half considering he was Optimus' second in command during the cartoons, but if you look at the size comparison between him and Megatron, it was kinda to be expected.

All of the others seemed to have contributed a lot to the movie, Devastator and Brawl were minor characters, but they weren't expected to do much. I think I'd love to see one of the female Transformers in the sequel.

Yeah, how anyone could of thought Jazz meant it in an offending way is beyond me though.

I know what you mean, a modern ambulance would have been better for him, and i think he would have looked awesome in white.

Frenzy was probably my least favourite Decepticon. He was pretty cool in some parts, but I found it annoying how he kept acting like a complete idiot and making noises all of the time.
As for Autobots... probably Ratchet, just for no other reason than he didn't get enough screentime, allthough I did still like him.

^I do hope Ratchet gets more screentime in the sequel, its true that in the first he really didnt get enough to make you like him a great deal.

Well, Ratchet did my favourite line in the entire movie.

"The boy's pheromone levels suggests he wants mate with female."

Some fella in the cinema shouted out "Who wouldn't?" after that. I couldn't agree more. :woot:

^Me neither, thats is one of the best lines in the movie, and what that guy said just makes it both funnier and truer :cwink:.

But i just didnt like the way he and Ironhide left Jazz alone to fight Megatron.

The girl, would have been the boy but at least I knew why he was in the movie. Jazz gets an dishonorable mention.

They were probably protecting the humans from the other Decepticons that were there. We just didn't see it. At least, that's what I choose to believe. :woot:

At that point, the other Decepticons werent in the battle, Devestator had been taken down, then Megatron arrives, Starscream is just flying around so he wasnt involved, only Jazz had the balls to stand up to Megatron while the others ran away, Jazz was awesome in that scene, but it put me off Ironhide and Ratchet in a big way.

Blackout was there, if I remember correctly. I gotta watch it again. :woot:
