Infinity War Who will be cast as Magus/Adam Warlock?

Thoughts on who Marvel should get to play Magus/Adam Warlock in IW?

I have a few choices, any of which would be good.

Josh Hartnett (based on his work in Penny Dreadful), Hugh Dancy (Hannibal), Alexander Skarsgard,

Armie Hammer, or Jude Law.​

Adam is orange with golden hair. Really any race could play him. Think an older actor would work well someone in his late 40's. Maybe Brad Pitt?

I really don't care as long as he's good and we see him in GOTG 2 first. We need the Universal Church of Truth and the Soul Gem established first.

I would think they need to introduce him in GOTG2 before IW, only makes sense to set him up and the IW.

The Soul Gem will get established in some manner, maybe in his chest? or "within"him?

Some got all worked up that Vision was replacing Warlock with the mind gem now in Vision's forehead, so I doubt they do the same thing with Warlock. They'll figure it out and make it work.

The casting will be interesting because you have to find someone the GA will both hate when he is Magus and like when he is Warlock. I'm still trying to think of someone that can pull off both...

25 years ago, I would have liked to see Julian Sands play Adam Warlock.

Today, I would like to see Charlie Hunnam.

Due to the similarity between Adam Warlock and Rocky Horror (even though Adam Warlock was around first), I think the Enclave should be made up of some of the cast of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Susan Sarandon, Tim Curry, Barry Bostwick, Meat Loaf Aday and Patricia Quinn are all the scientists that create Adam Warlock.

For Adam himself... Alexander Skarsgård is my choice.

This rumor may, or may not be true. However, it really makes me a little bit concerned about that absurd Adam Warlock theory.

Nope. They already leaked the casting call for Infinity War and "The Magus" is one of the characters, so Warlock is confirmed by association. Also, both McConaughey and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau passed on the "villain" role in GOTG2 and they both look most similar to Warlock/Magus so that only adds to the idea.

I they do use Warlock I hope we see him hatching from his cocoon and they have to do better with that cocoon than what we saw in the Collector's collection...

I wonder if we see someone give adam the soul gem or he just has it already. I don't think the high evolutionary will make an appearance. Also it doesn't matter if the vision had the gem in his forehead. A lot of people put the gems in their foreheads. It is the most convenient spot I guess. Putting it on a necklace or staff makes it too easy to take away.
