I still like my idea...

Maybe Morris Bench can be the evil bank clerk that foreclosed on Aunt May's house in SM2! Spidey will seek revenge on Hydro for driving he and May out of the house that Uncle Ben built.

And that was the pitch for SM3:o

Are you Avi Arad? GET HIM:cmad:

I never thought of Sandman as a lesser known villan, at least with regard to the "classic" villans. Visual appeal is important. You can't discount it. Sandman was well done in SM3, but the 3rd act was too chopped up thanks to Sony [see deleted scenes page]. Feel free to give your thoughts on who the next two villans should be.

Indifferent.

Its a lot like Sandman but with water so it may be too similar. If they can get the effects down really well Im game though

I am Indifferent to Hydro-Man being in a Spider-Man movie.

I'm probarbly one of the few people that thinks Hydroman is a decent character. But for the sake of the movie, his powers would be to similar to Sandman, only replaced with water. I wouldn't mind seeing him make an appearance in the Spectacular Spider-Man show on television.

I like Hydro-Man, but as the other have said, we already got Sandman! Another "elemental" character will be just repetitive! I just hope they dont make Electro an "elemental" character by making him "living electricity" like Zzzax!

I wouldnt mind seeing Hydro-Man appear in a Spidey flick. Unfortunately, he's not one of the classic villains in Spider-Man's rogues gallery, nor is he exceptionally popular. Having him appear only in the opening, or a very early scene where Spidey makes quick work out of him, and perhaps follows it up by asking the question, "Where do these guys come from?" once more would be sufficient when it comes to Hydro.

I must admit that Hydro would look amazing on film! When he turns from "human" to "water" it could look like mix between "Kevin bacon becomes invisible in Hollow Man" and "Senator Kelly gets liquified in X-men"! His is skin and muscles become watery and transperent showing his also watery skeleton, and then he becomes all liquid... Something like that!

Didn't they have him in the third one? Oh thats right it was Sandman but the character was ignored so much I couldn't recall.

Sure, why not. And he teams up with Sandman and a new villain is born: um.. Mud-Man?

Mud Monster actually...

I'm all for any of Spidey's rogues in a movie, but as most have said, he's too similar to the Sandman. I wouldn't want to see him in the next movie, no, but farther down the line, who knows?
