Why are John Jameson and Flash Thompson credited on imdb?

I'm not sure about set pics, but I do remember hearing rumors that he would show up at Spider-Man Day.

I am not sure whether they were set pics or not, but I do remember seeing pics of him with much longer hair and a beard...and it looked like he was at Spidey Day.
