Why didn't Clark ask Supergirl to stay with the Kents

I don't remember anything about the "throwing out part" but she gave it back to cassie, so all is well.

Well I see what you're saying, but she didn't care. She wen't there mainly to find Argo(which I assume wasn't there either), and that whole little revolution thing was just a side quest.

So after she found out the answer she was looking for, she got her and power girl out. Regardless of whether or not people were fighting for their lives.

That makes it worse. She embroiled herself in the politics there to help her pass the time and then she betrayed them.

How is she not a spoiled brat?

She should have stayed out of it in the first place.

Also...I love how she's so 'sad' over Conner being dead. :whatever: she didn't even know him and then to flaunt around in his T-shirt?

She didn't even hide it when Cassie came in and she could have to.

I dont care she stole that shirt and then was about to throw it out because he was a better hero then her and she was jealous of Conner.

Geez no she didn't even throw it out. She gave it to Cassie who's been having a touch time of it..she came to Kara crying and then had a reminder of Conner there.

She's a real friend. She should have been smart enough to hide the t-shirt until after Cassie was done with her mom troubles and then she could have shared her less than sincere confession of stealing it and flirting with an older man.

That's not true, I disctinctly remember Conner and Kara meeting each other(she went there to talk to him, they got into a fight, she broke his jaw, they settled up, and then the teen titans showed up.) But that's not the point, Conner accepted her in that issue by calling her his cousin.

And she gave it to Cassie b/c she was the one that really deserved to wear it. She was doing the one right thing in her super hero career.

Actually Conner started that fight, he's the one that flew up and started messing with her. And I can prove it:

It's funny that Conner who is a clone is like a little brother to Clark and a son to the Kents, and technically he isnt really a relative, but Kara who is not a clone and is really Clarks cousin is the outcast of the family.

Meet and know are two different things.

Did she know his favorite color? WHat he liekd to do in his off time? His fears? His loves? His middle name?

'Cause Kara's a whiny princess wanna-be.

Clark should have sent her off to Kansas and let Ma and Pa slap her around about instead of shipping her off to Themyscaria where she was treated like a spoiled brat and gained a mistaken sens of regality. SHe thinks the world turns aorund her. The stunt she pulled in the last issue proves it.

She doesn't care what happens to other people, only that she get's what she wants.

She was going to toss it till Cassie came.

"Hey Cassie, I know you're down but, hey, look..here's your dead boyfriends t-shirt which I stole and wore and am now throwing away. Oh! Why are you crying?"

Point is she didn't even though it was horrible her stealing it and then wearing it to make a stupid point, she didn't even have enough decency to get rid of it when her friend came in.

Also it's a Black T-shirt with a Supes symbol on it..you don't think the Wal-Mart of DC Comics would have one she could pick up?

Cassie doesn't wear Conners shirt...not as her outfit anyway. :o

It might have been the right thing but it was at the wrong time. Proof that a stupid male writes this book and knows didly squat about women and their emotions. She practically kicked her friend when she was down.

Not to mention I will never forgive the writers for allowing Kara to best Cassie in that Cornfield fight. Never.

Ill use this as a mini review thread.

Supergirl 9 was much better and made much more sense that the last few issues. I am starting to like Churchills art much more now. He does a good job with the ladies :). The story was alright but definately readable this time. The interaction with Batman was akward but nice.

Too bad Kara is totally inconsiderate of Cassie and her feelings. That answers why CK didnt ask Kara to stay with the Kents. And oh yea, Conner >> Kara :supes:
