So any S/B trades that are recommended? I liked Loeb's Supergirl arc... Thats about it. :p

The stories by Michael Green (I think) from last year were pretty good. Rafael Albuquerque drew a few.

Micheal Green wrote the **** out of this book and i have no idea why he was taken off. I would also recommend the arc Torment but I think that was Green too, so yeah. Whatever you do dont read the Gungenheim arc.

Remember the one with the little mini-versions of the JLA? I loved that story. That was an Albuqeurque-drawn one, too.

That was the issue Superman was affected by the Pink/Purple Kryptonite and he essentially got really high. It was hilarious and absurdly well written for what it was aswell.

SUPERMAN/BATMAN #78
Written by JOE KELLY
Art and cover by ED BENES
It's open season on the World's Finest as it looks like all their worst enemies have joined forces to take down both Batman and Superman. Who could possibly be behind this carefully coordinated attack?
On sale NOVEMBER 17 * 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US

His annuals are magnificent. I really hope this is an arc he's writing.

:wow::hrt::awesome:
JOe Kelly and Ed Benes. Best team since Loeb/McGuinness/Turner IMO.
Best since Green/Albuquerque to me. I didn't particularly care for Loeb's run on the series, regardless of his artists. Plus, he used it to inflict the current Supergirl on us all.

Dear, DC

Please let Joe Kelly be the permanent writer for Superman/Batman.

He wrote the annual where clark loses his powers and Batman has to train him, yeah that was ****ING AWESOME! This book goes back on my list again. Also there is not a single female on that cover.

The 2nd, but the first annual has Deadpool!!!!!!!

Which annual was that? I want to pick that up now.

Annual # 2 as DRZ said but ignore his insane recommendation of the first simply because of Deadpools inclusion, it was ****ing dumb like all of the NEW Deapool comics. Not to mean the issue was dumb but just that making an alternate universe version of Deathsroke, Deadpool was dumb.

But that's what made it funny. Rob Liefeld created Deadpool as a Deathstroke rip-off. Hell, even when he was created Fabian Nicieza went to Liefeld and flatout told him that Deadpool was a blatant plagarization of Deathstroke.

Having alternate-universe Deathstroke being a Deadpool rip-off was funny in that it turned the tables. That and the fact that Joe Kelly wrote Deadpool.
