Has anyone ever been friends with, worked with, or just knew someone that everyone liked except you? And you just couldn't understand what it was that people saw in that person.

Sometimes, sure. Usually the person in question is a talker. They'll talk just to hear themselves talk. For some reason, people find that charming.

My best friend has this friend that I hate. He's annoying as hell.

Usually it's the cocky ****talkers that people think are cool.

Lots of people like that on the Hype.

I have a friend like that. I just don't understand what other people see in him. He is a complete f-ing tool.

Actually this sums up my friend quite well. I can't get in a word when he is around. He also takes long pauses, so you think he is done, so you start talking, & then boom he starts running his f-ing yapper again!

Don't be fooled. If you hate him, good chances are that everyone else does, and they're just pretending to like him because they think everyone else does.

Its a vicious circle.

I am that guy and this topic offends me. :cmad:

I get that a lot that "guy" is dating the girl I like.

Usually the one that talks the loudest and the most gets the most attention. People respond to that. Every office usually has that guy.

It's like the guy has a control issue and he manipulates everyone around him to the point where they laugh at his jokes whether they are funny or not.

I'm still here you know! :csad:

YES!!! I know this guy who's such a tool, yet he's well liked. I guess it's because he's just a follower and will do something if everyone else is doing it. Makes an ass of himself every time I see him, though.

Especially if he's talking about absolutely nothing. At my job, there's one guy who always feels the need to rap aloud every single song he knows.

yes. i know one. he ruins all the moments. we will be having a good and funny chat and he will be a dumba$$ and say something stupid and then everyone is silent. i hate him.

One of my mates really confuses me. He's fat, ugly, has awful hair, is too loud and too dumb.
Yet he gets a lot of women in the nightclubs. I'm sorted because I'm already taken, yet it still baffles me and others how gets them...I mean, his moobs are bigger than their boobs, most of the time.

But there are others who I just dislike, whilst others love them :down

Yeah, people go on about how my co-worker is so cute and such a great worker. I'm like "He's bossy and thinks that he knows everything!" Seriously, he is my subordinate and he tells me what to do and which rules he will and wont follow. :cmad:

I remember this *****e in school that people liked. He used to be real funny but one of those people that makes jokes at others expense and most people really thought he was a jerk but no one said it.

Whadda relief.
I thought this was going to be another,
"Yeah I weigh 300 pounds, haven't flossed in 8 months, it's more like my acne has a skin problem, and I work at Wendy's....but I really listen to this girl, and care about her, but she's with this square-jawed ass**** who drives her around on a Harley and looks like an underwear model, but he treats her horribly and I can't figure out why she's with him and not me!" - Thread.

Hopefully we are done with those threads.

On a message board with comic book fans? Not likely.

Dennis Miller says you'd have an easier time getting Voltaire to tone down his Enlightment polemicist demeanor after a night of existentialism with Phillipe II.

Dennis Miller needs to get his @$$ kicked.
