Why dose everybody hate JAWS: The Revenge?

Ghostrider, I really think you do like the movie, but your just saying you don't now so you don't look like a fool. But maybe thats just me...

lol, so the part shark/part lion was depressed so he offered up his neck to be punctured by the boat so he could end it all. I see.

Emo Jaws? Life is paaaain. The shark wearing black eyeliner would have been the least ridiculous thing in this movie.

How the hell can Ellen have flashbacks of her husband killing the original shark when she wasn't even anywhere near the Orca in the 1st film?!
She wasn't having flashbacks....the shark was. This was the cousin of the original shark...he was in the ocean near the Orca proudly watching his cuz chew the crap out of those pesky humans...when much to his horror and surprise he saw Sheriff Brody kill him. This of course put him into a major depression. It took many years for him to work up the courage to eat humans again...but once he got the old mojo back...he knew he had to take revenge against the Brody's. This of course leads to the events in the movie...until at the last...as he charges the ship, and sees Ellen Brody bravely and stoicly standing on the deck unafraid....HE flashes back to when he saw Sheriff Brody kill his cousin...and it's at that point that he leaps from the water screaming in shark language....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I luvs him

I can imagine that Roy Sheider's thoughts about not being apart of JAWS: The Revenge is about like Richard Dreyfuss' thoughts about not being apart of JAWS 2.

"Well, or course I am not sorry about not being in JAWS 2. I mean, that would be like being sorry for not falling down a flight of stairs." :)

More likely the shark wanted to sacrifice itself so it could get out of this idiotic movie series and thus spare further generations the indignity of a classic film that was forced to suffer one studio-mandated bout of diarrhea after another. I salute you, Bruce.
