Why is Godzilla (GINO) being used in Doritos commercials?

D.Rex said:

That was a great song. Puff Daddy actually used the background right and made a great song.

Also as an answer to the early question. Godzilla is a world famous character. Everyone knows who he is an because of his notorious appetitie who better to use as a spokesperson for your food. It works well. That evrsion is the newest version maybe it was easier to get a hold of and use than the old Godzilla Im not sure exactly why they'd use that version. I'd most likely have used the updated but still classic style Godzilla from Godzilla 2000.

Seriously, you on that crack rock?

Let me just say that DOG LIPS was the one who told me about P. Diddy's new name, but...yeah.

I actually like that song whenever whateverhe'scallinghimselfthesedays shuts up 'cause it has cool, icy drums.

I also like Doritos, maaaaaaybe?....twice?, a week?

So, looks like a match made in heaven to me.

This was my initial reaction to the thought that anyone would call the butchering of such an amazing classic, musical masterpiece "a great song":

okay . . . I saw the commercial, and Lumberjack isn't hallucinating or anything; I'm seriously like . . . WTF?

and they ARE working to revamp Gojira in Japan, or whatnot . . . I read it in Stuff or Maxim . . .

Conclusion: Doritos' marketing team need to stop outsourcing . . .

I'm dissappointed in Tom Morrello for being involved in those Shenanigans . . .
But I still bought the single :(
Dude, that song is one of the most hilarious because Zach is trying to mock the commercialism of summer blockbusters while he's agreeing to be a "cog" in the "machine", but I love that song.

If you take it in an Andy Kaufman way, it's really cool.
But I don't give too much of a f*** about "meaning" or "lyrics", I just like the bass and guitaro.

Right . . . that's the only good thing about P Shiddy . . . he's got good taste in music . . . he just has no talent to back it up . . .

I know it's hard to always detect subtle sarcasim on the internet but I really didn't mean that guys. I was going along with Slipknot's joke.

That clip you posted as your reaction is hilarious jag. I found that very amusing.

Hahaha, I'd like to put the great Page Fiasco of '98 up against that. It'd be funny. But there's no way I'm going into my dusty, dank, Brown Recluse infested attic to go and find the CD of the soundtrack that I got at a yard sale for free.:(

okay, I'm not having much luck here . . . I think Lumberjack accidentally turned on a VHS tape of some shyt he recorded back in '98, and that's how he saw the commercial . . . let me keep looking though
lmao

I respect Diddy he's a smart and clever business man, but that's his only talent making money.

that's why come w/ me was like . . . the last song he's made . . .

It would have been better to have a guy in a suit stomping around and pick up a cardboard box painted like a Dorito's truck. :( I would have laffed at that.

Heh! I'm glad he didn't make a song for the X-men soundtrack, that's right up his alley moneywise.

*Rapping over 'More Human than Human' by Rob Zombie*

"Uh..huh! Badboy!! X-men!!"

"More human than a human uh huh! badboy!"

"Got bling on my wrist like Wolverine yo! uh huh!"

God, you reminded me of just how absolutely crappy P. Diddy really is, damn you! Those are eerily accurate P. Diddy-esque lyrics. LOL!
