Despite its weaknesses, I enjoyed it. It misinterpreted Doom and Sue, but the other characters came out intact. Especially Johnny and Ben, who were so spot on that it compensated for many of the film's flaws.

Has he bothered to explain exactly what was the problem with giving that radical concept a try for the first movie? I'm hopeful, but highly skeptical about that messge coming to fruition. How do you go from a cardboard, bland, spoiled, petulant rich boy into something actually befitting one of the most dynamic villains in all of comicdom? I'd love to see it happen, but I won't be banking on it.
