The Dark Knight Why no blood in this movie?

I think the other thing that ruined the Gambol death was the music right when he cuts him...

Usually you'll hear the knife cut at least, whether they do or dont show blood... I was at least waiting for that sound to maybe make me squinch but nothing...

Not complaining, but definitely somethin I noticed

It just seemed abrupt, but the entire scene was so awesome I really don't care.

I think Maroni being dropped by Batman and landing on his feet, thus breaking his legs was horrible enough.

It definitely made me cringe a little.

Technically Batman had blood on his arm with the whole scar from the dogs, and then of course residue on Harvey's pillow.

Yeah, it was kind of weird that Maroni's legs broke? I know I heard a snap at least...

But then you seen him walk into the car when hes confronted by Two Face and hes also walking in the Hospital when he runs into Gordon...

Little confused

He was using a cane or crutches, can't remember exactly which.

I dont care about them not showing blood
but they should have shown the body of at least one of the jokers quick execution.
The gambol scene was ruined by the fact that you see abosolutely nothing after he falls, same with the pencil trick.

WB should be applauded for allowing Nolan to go this far tonally with the film that blood itself wouldn't have been necessary. The threat and repurcussions of violence can be told more explicitly through suggestion and implication than HOSTEL style buckets of gore and this film (and most of Nolan's films period) does it expertly.

I think it's Nolan who should be applauded, Nolan cowrote the movie and he knew exactly how far he could bad should go with the movie to get a PG-13 movie that he needed. Look at all his other films, Nolan doesn't rely on gore and/or violence for violence's sake, it's all done to further the story.

If the lack of blood is a serious complaint on this movie... I am seriously concerned with the mental stability of some of the Hype's posters.

Haha personally it didn't cross my mind originally. But since someone began the discussion I commented on the matter, but it appears as though people are putting details under the microscope to find fault and aren't being too successful so far.
