Its an official Dark Knight action figure, but what? Why? How does it work into the movie?
All I could find on it was people speculating that he was in the movie and that the guy from Breakfast Club might be playing him.

I believe that figure is meant to represent what Deathstroke might look like in the "Nolan Bat-Universe", using a more realistic approach to the character. I suppose it's meant to add some variety to the line by inserting more characters popular with fans, as well as giving the kids some more villains for their Batman figures to fight against. Mattel also released a "Rocket Pack Firefly" in the line, which you can see here: http://gofigureactionfigures.com/product8049.html

However, even though they are a part of TDK's toy line, neither Deathstroke nor Firefly actually appeared in the movie.

Yeah, it's a total mystery WHY they added that figure. I guess to add more variety...I hate when they do that!

uhm.... its called marketing? you think little kids only wanna play with the batman and joker over and over again. its the same reason they make batman with 15 suits, cause every time a kid sees batman in a different suit at "Toys R Us" they beg their parents for it. the toy companies dont give a sh^t about the movie. lol come on...
