This news on Bryan sucks, ugh, I just don't know where they go from here and for him personally it must be so disheartening.

I feel terrible for him. To finally reach the mountaintop in your field, and then to have it taken away by an injury. I hope they get a seat-warmer for him, but I'd be lying if I said I was confident in that. I was 100% positive that he was going to main event Wrestlemania, and leave with the title. But, I don't have a fraction of that confidence that he'll get the title back. I really hope I'm wrong.

News about Bryan sucks, and I am seeing parallels to Shawn Michael's career as well, though Bryan's attitude is about 300% better than Shawn's was at the time.

However, the show must go on. I think it is too early to push Rollins to the moon, and I do think they are keeping a seat warm for Daniel (the crowd pop when he makes his return will blow the roof off whatever stadium they're in).

Best that a heel wins the title though: Orton is a safe, conservative choice, but Lesnar would be my preference. They could keep him off TV as champ by using the workhorse Cesaro as the gatekeeper between Lesnar and the would-be face contenders. If necessary, Lesnar could do a feud vs. Sheamus or Cena, but retain the title.

A returning Bryan would then have to go through Cesaro to get to Lesnar. Lesnar vs. a returned Bryan would be HUGE for business, even Vince's addled brain has to know that.

Now, if Bryan never comes back, that would suck, but I don't mind prolonging his recovery to be on the safe side.

What's this rumour I hear about Sting promo's being filmed in the coming weeks?

I was about to say something similar.

Maybe a cool new role for Sting would be to counter Triple H as the manager/mentor of Reigns and Ambrose, like how Triple H is to Rollins and Orton.

Seeing Sting in his black Crow overcoat flanked by Reigns and Ambrose in their black riot gear would make me fangasm on two separate levels.

If my 2K source is really being truthful with me, then the WWE 2K15 pre-order bonus should make people happy. ;)

I've heard the same thing from my 2k sources ;)

I've also heard a certain inclusion on the roster that will make a lot of people happy too

me? I'm a bit upset by who I was told wasn't in it

Actually, I think now is the perfect time to push Rollins to the top of the card. We know he's an outstanding worker and would put on an incredible match with pretty much anyone. He's also improved leaps and bounds on his promos and most importantly, it puts tons of heat on him as HHH's hand picked champ. With Rollins as champ, there's plenty of instantly viable contenders. Ambrose and Reigns are no-brainers, Bryan upon his return, and a jealous Orton striking back at HHH for having more faith in Rollins.

My other preference (and they'll never do it) is to go the underdog route: have HHH insert Rollins and Orton into the match, then have Steph announce that she's feeling generous. The final spot will be determined by giving a second chance to the competitors who lost qualifying matches. In the multi man qualifying match, allow Ziggler to win and be entered into the MITB match for the title. Then in the main event, have Ambrose and Reigns screw Rollins and Orton and that allows Ziggler to win the title.

An underdog reign for Ziggler doesn't have to be a long one, but he's already inserted himself into HHH's business so it could make sense. I'd still prefer Rollins get it, since that's something fresh and puts more heat on the angle he's involved in - plus, I think he's ready to carry the top title unlike some others apparently.

Wait, you've heard about more than one person? I was just told about THAT one person.

WWE 2k15 pre order better be STING!!!!!

also, sucks about Bryan.

hopefully this isn't the end of his title run. all of that buildup to the WM moment......then this........

That's my concern as well, he really needed this to be a strong title run with Reigns looming on the horizon. I honestly don't know what they'll do, all those ideas for Summerslam seem like they'll have to be moved around, the deck will need shuffling. I personally don't agree with the view that Brock should be champion unless Brock is going to be active, in my view he shouldn't lose until Mania 31 so putting it on him for him to drop at Summerslam or NOC is a bad move.

Sami Zayn for the happy one and Sting for the disappointing one?

I'd heard that Adrian Neville & Charlotte would most likely be playable characters as well, but I don't know how much truth there is to those rumors.

Generic Luchador. All I'm gonna say.

:ninja:

Not shocking though. Considering the rumored modes for 2K15, the [BLACKOUT]NXT roster, or many of its staples,[/BLACKOUT] were expected.

Sad to read about Bryan's neck. While it's bad, I hope it doesn't blossom into another situation like Edge or Austin. I hope they give him all the time he needs. The company with its history, should know neck injuries are nothing to take lightly.

And Cena had an eye injury at a house show. Who knows how limited he'll be and how long that will last.

The two top guys are hurt and one to slide into the spot. I agree with Lobo that this would have been the ideal time for Dolph but he has no credibility. They almost have to fast track Reigns a little bit or speed up the journey to Cesaro's face turn.

I got drunk with a couple of guys... loose lips sink ships - not gonna spill the beans though - I'm guessing the pre-order was the same based on your reaction

my reaction is based on my personal favourite wrestlers

I dont watch NXT so and love the monday night war era so read into that as you will - wasnt surprised about the pre-order - the character inclusion did certainly surprise me and the dissapointment exclusion isn't 100% yet but very unlikely to make it :(

Hmmmmm, one question, did you watch WCW during the MNW era?

I'm not really a fan of Lesnar getting the title, as 1) he's a part-timer and 2) in my opinion, he should not lose again until at least Wrestlemania. He went over Taker. He's The Guy now. However, if the endgame is switched from Lesnar/Reigns to Lesnar/Bryan at 'Mania, I suppose I could get on board.

I fully agree that they should prolong Bryan's recovery time. I want him to stay away as long as necessary...or longer. His longterm health and quality of life is much more important.

I think it's too early to be giving any of the SHield, Casero, Bray or Rollins the title right now. While it's going to suck, I think they should give the title to either Orton, Cena or Trips and in the meantime, actually build someone up for a couple of months then give said person the title.

I'll be disappointed if Sting isn't on the roster....... :(
