Wii Help

Okay, so I'm borrowing my brother's Wii for the week. However, of all things I forget the Wiimote. But a friend lent me his.

For some reason, its not working. I get to the main Wii screen, but the controller won't do anything. I tried sync-ing it up with the scanner, but it still isn't registering.

What am I doing wrong here?

Don't know if u tried but this is how to do it. You open up the flap in front of the system (where the cd, power button etc is). then open the back of the wiimote (where the batteries are) and u should see a red button behind the wii mote and under that flap on the system. When i sync i press the button on the wii system for maybe 2-3 seconds and after i press the red button behind the wiimote untill i see the 4 blinking blue squares become 1st player (1 dot)

I have been wondering..... how do I connect internet to play online on my wii.. Just plug in the ethernet or wat? Please someome help I just got a wii

the Wii is all wireless. So unless you have wireless internet, there's no way to do it. They sell little USB things that you can plug into your computer to put out a wireless signal and gamestop and best buy, specifically for Wii and DS though. So that's probably your best bet if you dont have/want to buy a wireless router.
