WiiU

I'll be honest that I'm looking forward to this, even if it's only because I want to see Nintendo games in HD. If the big N finally get close to the third parties as all the promotional material suggests, it is possible (even though it's not likely) that the WiiU will reach Playstation 2 levels. The price will also decide this I suppose.

Also am I the only one who is insanely excited for a GOD DAMN LEGO GTA!

I just hope they release a Mario game at launch. Although, I wonder how they can possibly top both SMGs.

Didn't they say they were working on a game called "Super Mario Bros. Mii" or something like that?

This is just me, but I would love it if they made an actual sequel to Mario 2. I doubt that's something they would ever do though.

Well, whatever they decide to do I hope they let Luigi have starring role alongside Mario. :(

I don't get the love for the Galaxy games. The first one is the only game I've given up on because it was too easy. It was REALLY easy. I never bothered with the second one. Now, if they'd given us another New Mario Bros Wii, or another Donkey Kong, then I'd have been interested more.

I'm waiting on the 3DS to drop a bit more in price, but the WiiU will be the first Nintendo I don't own. And thats because they've failed to excite me with the Wii.

I'm getting the WiiU... I had a Wii and traded it EARLY on in it's life cycle and I missed a lot of Grade A games. So... Yeah.

Plus I want to see what it does with my 3DS.

Ditto to the nth degree. I do want a 3DS, though, but I think I'm going to hold out until a redesign.

I'm currently contemplating trading in both my Wii and my launch 360 to Amazon in order to get a newer, quieter, less time bomb like, 360. They are even having a deal where you get 50 extra bucks for trading in a Wii towards just such a purpose. Very tempting.

I got my 3DS for Christmas and couldn't be happier. Seeing as it's even a Limited Edition Zelda 3DS I won't even "upgrade" when the new version comes out.

I'll be glad if they move on from the Galaxy theme/series, but I do hope the linear platform oriented gameplay is retained as well as the classic elements 3d Land brought back. I think the best thing they could do is try to give the impression that you're actually on solid ground (as opposed to planets and floating land) while retaining the linearity, which I realize is difficult. Most games place you in hallway-like environments, like Sonic Colors.

Nintendo needs to launch some new IP's with the Wii U. I'm interested in Miyamoto's new original title for the system.

The creator of Super Mario Bros. and the Legend of Zelda says he's developing a brand new title.

Speaking in an interview with Zoomin.tv, Shigeru Miyamoto says he's developing an undisclosed tile in addition to the previously announced Pikmin 3 for Wii U. "People have come to expect a lot from me. This certainly makes me feel some pressure," he said. "But if you ask me, 'Is it too much pressure to try to come out with something new?' I have to say no, I'm enjoying myself.

"But when I make something I always try to do my best." No details about the project were talked about in this interview, however.

I want some new IP's... However, I believe every Nintendo system needs a Mario game at launch and yes, I want them to move away from "Galaxy."

Just legit give me "Mario 64 - 2" if you have to. :p

I am sure the Wii U will also have Mario Kart: 9,000 in there somewhere for launch

About time he gets a new IP. It feels as though Nintendo's biggest console games always involve either Mario, Link, Samus or all three.

For launch? No, but I'm sure it will get a Mario Kart... which is great. No one dislikes Mario Kart.

I wonder how the next Mario Kart will work on the Wii U and will it be called Mario Kart U?

Has it been confirmed that only one controller out of 4 players will be the tablet?Last I read about it I think it was just a rumor a week or two after E3,That's one reason that may prevent me from getting it cause my wife would be sad or mad IF she has to use the Wii controller while I get the fancy new tablet controller&vice-verse!!

^ We can only hope.

Personally, I don't mind if it's true. I don't really like the look of the U-Tablet controller.
