Hey now... I've always enjoyed the Mario Party games. However, I feel they're more suited for online fun. I think they could really stand out now that Nintendo discovered the Internet.

You know to take away from all the serious stuff about the wii U just think about this... Do you guys remember all the people that lost weight when the wii came out? I would love to see STAR FOX, Metroid, Wave Race and F-Zero games at some point.

Retro said they were working on something that everyone was "expecting/wanting" them to. So I'm pretty sure it's Metroid. I mean DKR was released in 2010, so they've been working on something for 2 years. To see a next gen Metroid would make me giddy as hell.

Ya Mario Party can be rage inducing that is for sure lol. I guess I'm also excited to see the next Mario 3D game. I loved SMG1&2 but I'm hoping for something traditional again, get out of space for a while.

Would be cool to see a new Excite Bike as well. And maybe finally get SE to make a Dragon's Quest for the Wii U would be awesome too. Get away from the portables with that. And of course the others you guys mentioned, like Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Star Fox, Wave Race F-Zero and so on.

Ya, I'm not taking away anything from Prime. Especially the first one, it was pure perfection, up there with OOT for me, just such an amazing game, I still go back and play it. Prime 2 was great, Prime 3 was good as well, but not as much as the first 2, but still good regardless.

But there was just always that sadness that I could not see good ol Mother Brain, or Kraid again, though you can find screenshots of Kraid in Metroid Prime, but they cut him, and put the Space Pirate Omega in it's place. Though again, it took nothing away from the game what-so-ever. But would have been nice to see the trio of Ridley, Kraid and Mother Brain in there.

LOL all this talk makes me want to go back and play Metroid Prime again.

DQX is a Japan exclusive for Wii/Wii U at the moment.

Honestly though Soapy, Super Metroid, and Metroid Prime are in my top 10 list of all time. When the Wii U comes out they say the Virtual Console has GameCube games on it, buy Metroid Prime, and get a Pro Controller. You won't regret it at all. Right now if you have a Wii you can buy Super Metroid if you have the classic controller, on the Virtual Console. But Prime is my favorite.

I was in love with the GCN control scheme when I first played them, but for me, there was no going back after experiencing them on Wii. But yeah, to each his own.

There's a rumor floating around that VC titles from Wii won't be able to be played via GamePad. I hope that's not true.

That's the tablet, right? That makes sense. I do hope that you can use the controller with them though. In fact, I hope you can use that controller with Wii games, too.

I couldn't stand it on the GC. I was too use to using dual analogs in shooters, I hated having to hold the trigger to aim.
