I wouldn't go that far, but it's the best you're gonna get.

Nintendo Land by itself costs 60 bucks, the stands and charging stand together would be around 30 bucks for both minimum I'd figure, especially for the charging stand. And the online passes, may be worth some to which I don't know. I'd say it's still a hell of a deal.

The black bundle? It IS a pretty sweet deal. If you have the option to chose basic or deluxe and have enough for the deluxe...It would be goofy to go with the basic.

What you get for the extra amount you're paying for the deluxe bundle is a pretty good deal, but what I was getting at is that I don't think either version is a particularly good value strictly speaking in terms of the hardware. This is just me, but I think it's a bit overpriced considering that for the most part the Wii U is only achieving parity with seven year old hardware.

Not to down play the wii u at all (i will get one) but that really is a true statement. Its somewhat like linking up a game boy to your nintendo with sensors.

Bah, I highly doubt the graphics for the PS3/360 are much better than they are now. Nintendo has a huge chance here to take advantage of the Wii Pad and whatnot.. I want to see blow us away with everything they have to offer. I honestly think that Sony/Microsoft kind of have to keep their next systems within this price range... Good move on there part.

Plus... Any lower they'd be in 3DS territory.

It's more powerful than the ps3 and 360...how much more is yet to be discovered. But even if it's just a little the price is still good considering those seven year old systems are still selling for around or just under the WiiU.

Really looking forward to it though.

More than anything, I am just waiting for that follow-up to Mario Galaxy - whatever it may be. 3D Mario will always keep me buying Nintendo consoles.

Only if you are touching it but once you set the console down, why does one need to be touching it? Its not like its a handheld or phone. I can only see this being the case if you are constantly moving it between households. IA with those on the black preference. Thats what I prefer my consoles to be over white.

Yeah, nothing wrong in waiting to get a good deal. IMO they will have stock set aside when it gets closer to Christmas. We don't know how many units were allocated to each store, but I know that my local Gamestop was only alloted 15 Deluxe reservations. That may or may not be indicative of all stores though.

Man get in line early! i remember getting the wii at launch with gamestop... They allowed allot of pre-orders but were only given a certain amount of consoles to a store.. Needless to say the 1st 20 people in line on launch day were awarded the console,, regardless if you pre ordered. I was just lucky that day.. But allot of people were pissed. It was like airline booking, in other words "we are sorry, over booked, your gonna miss this flight".

I haven't even pre-ordered it yet due to my financial situation and I'm not sure if I have enough to be able to afford it when it launches. That's two months down the road, so it's still up in the air. If it is available, I'll most likely be hitting up the stores on Sunday mornings when they get their shipments, and pick one up a few weeks later.

I sometimes move my consoles to different TVs. I'll also be moving out at some point in the future and I could be changing apartments more than I'd like. I prefer a white console since everything else is made in black and the issue of smudging it won't exist.

Ok, every Gamestop in Denver and Aurora are out of Wii U reservations. I got lucky to get the last 8GB Wii U at a Gamestop in walking distance from my house. I found a Toys R Us that still had Deluxe Wii U reservations and picked up pre-order there.

So so far I have each Wii U reserved. Just in case something goes wrong at one store, I fallback on the other. Plus I'm on Gamestop's waiting list to upgrade my basic Wii U pre-order to the Deluxe pre-order if more become available.

This is looking to be just as crazy as when the Wii came out.
