I never thought the day would come.
Buuuut as far as I've been told, he faded away prior to burning out.
Just in case anybody wants to take up his mantle:
The formula is pretty simple!
BEING WILHELM
-Spaced out posts so that it guides the eye in a very pleasing way. It's almost a screenwriter's trick
-Punctuation, capitalization and use of italics that gives an almost arrogant, but aesthetically pleasing, rhythm to the post. You can HEAR a Wilhelm post when you read it
-Liberal sarcastic use of the shocked, confused, dry and embarrassed smileys as punctuation, along with occasional use of it in the middle of a sentence to create a liberating break in the flow of the thought
-Playing with font size to create emphasis, but also using smaller font sizes to make it seem like it's a personal aside, just to you
-Very leading metaphors
-Weird use of words. Once used "luscious" to describe delusions.
Why, it's almost like he... *gasp*... figured out a posting style that worked. for. him! And stuck with it!
What a bastard
(see what I did there? lol)
