The Dark Knight Will Batman have been investigating The Joker?

I don't think they'll go overboard, there was more in Begins than people give credit, they just alluded to the result rather than than showing much actual work. The one thing I don't want is Bruce leaning on Fox as a crutch. The thing that annoyed me about Begins was they changed the script from Batman discovering the emitter to Fox telling him.

I'm sure that stuff will transfer to Gordon this time, so far he's not been ahead of the game in anyway except recognising Batmans usefulness. Let Batman and Gordon have their independent investigations, different skills, resources, come together, give it to Dent. The great thing about Gordon still being a lowly Lieutenant is him doing more physical work at crime scenes rather than high level wranglings.

That annoyed me a whole lot but depending on how far apart the films are chronologically it shouldn't be a problem. I'd assume Batman would be more seasoned in this one and thusly a better chemist, detective etc.
