haha! I also agree!!

I really hate these "hulk sucks" threads! Hulk was one of, if not the best Marvel movie in terms of drama. While it could've had a little more action, I left the theatre very satisfied.

besides how the hell could people not enjoy the Hulk vs the tanks/chopper sequence:up: :)

oh and to answer the original question Will Hulk 2 be a Gamma Bomb?

well Zak Penn is writing it, plus from what Avi Arad said the other day the other day NO, its not going to Gamma Bomb, infact it'll give the Batman sequal a run for its money or possibly beat it come 2008:up:
oh s**t, i just remembered about BB2

What other credits does Zakk Penn have to his writing skills?

Hopefully, Avi Arad is right and Hulk 2 will be the Blockbuster that the first film was supposed to be. Having a known villain is a good sign. Maybe they will use a similar storyline from the Xbox game: Hulk-Total Destruction. That should offer something for both types of fans; those that want to see the Dr. Banner struggle, and those who want to see two titans beat the **** out of each other.

I enjoyed the hulk, quite a lot actually i thought it was very unique. The only thing i never liked was the villain, i thought the end fight fell flat but thats about it.

Im really hopin they knock the second one out the park cause i know they can go crazy with the hulk now that he's been established.

The Hulk itself was fantastic. The battle with the military is one of the coolest things in any Marvel film to date. I think the tacked on idea of the father/absorbing man was an error, but it was still damn entertaining and thought provoking in parts.

I look forward to any sequel, and hope that the original cast are up for returning.

I really likes hulk, it was different. It came out and said, look comic book movies can have depth too, even ones with characters that can be percieved as stupid. Plus its epic in some of its set pieces. I love the scene with hulk running across the country.

"1. It took forever to build up any story."

Agreed
2. And then they had the Hulk fighting mutant dogs.

"The Hulk has a long rich history of villains, and for the type of CG that the budget obviously allowed, mutant dogs wouldn't have even been on the list."
Agreed., but the fight was awesome. And I loved how Hulk looked.

My major problem was that absorption man or whatever, was just a sucky villain. I still liked the movie. The fight against the military was good too! I was saddened that so many people didn't like it, because I thought that doomed :doom: any chance of Hulk 2. :hulk:

THE END FIGHT FELT...FORCED. IT DIDN'T SEEM LIKE SOMETHING LEE WANTED TO DO BUT RATHER HAD TO TO PLEASE THE STUDIO.

the only thing that can **** this film up is lazy writing and bad special effects

if zak penn makes this z-men presents the hulk we are ****ed
if they puit abomination in a rubber suit and make him half his size we are ****ed
if the tone of the movie is so far of from hulk 1 we are ****ed

p.s mutant dogs are straight from the comics

Tons of badly recieved movies get sequels and have potential to do good at the box office. Hulk 2 is no different. It's just there's too many ways this project could get screwed up.

As long as they reduce the Hulks size I guess I Would be happy. Thats the part that really bugged me alot, when he is in the underground base and he is like 15-20 feet tall and you have the little puny humans comming to his knees. Would be alot easier to accept if he was only 7 to 9 feet tall.
Got this from some site..

Height: 7 ft. as green Hulk, 5 ft. 9 in. as Banner, 6 ft. 6 in. as gray Hulk
Weight: 1,040 lbs. as green Hulk, 128 lbs. as Banner, 900 lbs. as gray Hulk

It just really bugged me about the Hulks size and how fake it made it look.

Ya and Absorbingdad was alittle out there for me too. I really dont know why they did not stick to how the actual hulk is.. and went with this gene, nano..gama stuff.

I didn't like the First X Men movie that much either, but the second one restored my faith in the franchise big time. Since Hulk is my favorite Marvel hero, i'm keeping my fingers crossed that the second one will deliver for me like the second X Men did. In fact the second X Men help me appreciate the first one a little better. Hope Hulk 2 does the same......

I disagree. First of all, 7 feet is a height achieved by many normal humans. The Hulk should be beyond any human proportions. Second, if you're gonna weigh 1,000+ pounds you should have a height that accomodates it. 3rd-it would be inconsistent w/the first movie if they were to shrink him, & lastly, he was never 20 feet tall in the first one.

^. Not if they condomn it with the fact that the Absorbing man took some of his powers, therefore he's not as big as he originally was.....
