If the second GOTG film is an even bigger hit than the first then that would elevate any crossover with the Avengers.

I sure hope that we get a GOTG crossover with The Avengers I mean it would make sense in a twisted sort of way especially since they all have Thanos in common and not to mention could you imagine the back and forth banter between Peter Quill/Star Lord and Tony Stark/Iron Man? But also seeing Drax and The Hulk mix it up but also seeing Gamora mixing it up with Black Widow or even seeing Rocket with the rest of the team or even Groot for that matter

Of course they'll be involved. How is this even a question?

Plus I want to see The Guardians fight the Avengers at first with their teams at first being enemies but then coming together to become allies

The whole team should be in it like that shouldn't even be a question

It would be cool to see the Guardians meet the Avengers. We've already had the first Avengers movie where we saw all these heroes crossing over with each other from their individual franchises. Now it would be cool to see two teams meeting up. In fact, the Defenders should be established by then, so we could have three teams joining forces to fight Thanos.

Plus seeing The Guardians meet The Avengers would make for some interesting scenes but it would be laugh out loud funny too

I trust the Russo brothers to balance out all the characters. This is a huge culmination of everything they have done thus far in the MCU.

As I posted earlier in a few threads, I feel one will lean toward cosmic with a little Earth, while the other part will focus more on Earth. They can balance that fairly easily. Such as the Guardians warning the Avengers Thanos is on his way. I don't believe we'll see a scene where all the Avengers meet all the Guardians.

The most likely and fan favorite scene would be Stark meeting the Guardians or Star Lord meeting the Avengers. In some manner, Stark and Star Lord will have a scene together because that will be what the fans would love to see, those two characters bantering with each other.

I don't know if I agree with how some of you have said it needs to be more in space and not so Earth relevant. This is "Avengers: IW" so the Guardians will be IN the Avengers movie, not vice versa. While the GOTG world is great and new and has lots of areas to explore, ultimately it is about Earth. That is what I would say fans really care about. What happens to Earth, what happens to everyone on THIS planet.

StarLord needs to visit Earth, just so he can get a goddamn MP3 player already.

Guardians should be in it some, but maybe not a focus. It is the NOVA Corp that has the stone after all.

The question I suppose is: will the war start in space or on Earth? I'm guessing IW1 will start in space and follow Thanos' quest to obtain the stones, then it will end with him going after the mindstone. May NOVA sends Carol Danvers to warn the people of Earth.

Also they haven't really offered an explanation behind why he want's to attack Earth. Or why he sponsored Loki's attack. I think they'll need to cover that in the 1st movie too.

Honestly though I feel like the first one should be more of a Thanos movie. Then start the Infinity Wars

After the huge opening weekend of Chris Pratt's Jurassic World (might even take down Avengers opening weekend record) I bet the powers that be are scrambling right now to figure out how to get Chris Pratt a bigger part for the next Avengers. Heck, he might even rival Chris Evans screen time, given how the general audience is loving everything he has been in lately.

If anything having both of them filming IW will bring comedy gold on the set, we know what happens when you put those 2 together. Oh lord picture all three Chris's on the set at the same time. :cwink:

If the Guardians aren't in one of the 2 I'll be sooooo pissed. :((

Disney is not stupid. They will not care at all, what the comic book fanboys think. They will make damn sure, Chris Pratt is a major player when these last Avenger movies start to come together, regardless if the StarLord character was a heavy hitter in the Avengers comic books or not. I also won't be surprised if Vin Diesel's Groot and Bradley Cooper's Rocket gets increased screen time.

Do you think RDJ will still be the most focused on though?

Adding Dinosaurs would be a much bigger coup. Pratt was a factor but a minor one. He didn't make the movie huge any more than Sam Neill or Jeff Goldblum did and they had better characters and gave better performances.

They could do part of it in the Savage Lands. :o

Studios won't see it that way. They are seeing that Chris Pratt is on fire, from the Lego movie, to GOTG and now this, and there are rumors going on about him being in contention for Indiana Jones reboots. Why do you think Thor's role in the Avengers has been lessened, compared to Robert Downy Jr, Chris Evans and Scarlet Johansson? I doubt it has nothing to do with artistic integrity.

I really hope Pratt gets a big role, a lot of screen time top billing, and a dance off between him/Thanos. The age of Pratt/Gunn is coming :woot:

I really hope Chris Pratt doesn't get too big of a role. It is called AVENGERS Infinity War for a reason and I would like to see the new characters introduced in phase 3 to get plenty of screen time, except for Spiderman of course. I know it's not likely, but I'm sick of Spiderman.
