Considering the connections Captain Marvel and Inhumans share with the Kree, wouldn't it make sense that the Kree would at least show up, if not play a major part in the infinity war? If we look back at the Avengers movie, Nick Fury told Thor that he and his people are not Earth's champions. Well, Nick Fury will only know of Earthbound threats. We know next to nothing about the history between Earth and Asgard other than them defeating the Frost Giants and leaving the tesseract behind centuries ago. In the Agents of Shield Episode "Yes Men", it is implied that the Asgardians are completely unaware that the Kree came here centuries ago. It's possible that if the Kree were aware of the Asgardians, they were careful and slipped in under their noses.

Now, if we look at the Guardians of The Galaxy movie, I think it's implied that the Kree were on the losing end of the war. Anyways, a thousand years of war would take a toll on any civilization. The Kree would be looking replacements for their army. This is what would make them interested in Earth again, specifically their Inhumans project. They are just waiting for the right time. After the events of Thor: Ragnarok, they may finally get their chance. With Asgard possibly destroyed, it may be open season on humanity and the Kree head to earth. Their arrival brings the Inhumas out of hiding since they were genetically programmed to hide and await for the Kree to return. This could also be a chance for Carol Danvers to get her superpowers.

I really hope Ronan returns at some point, he is the quintessential Kree and so important in displaying their race in the comics.

Ronan is about as dead as dead can be. All that can change though with Thanos and infinity stones. I don't care what people said, he was an awesome villain in the Guardians. Not everybody can be Loki.

I agree, behind Loki he is probably my joint 2nd favourite villain with TWS. And yeah there are ways to bring him back, especially in Infinity War with the Infinity Stones involved.

Ronan doing what he does best, accusing people. Best evil monologue of the film:

The first race Thanos wipes out with the IG.

They seem to be playing a big role in the MCU so far. I think that maybe they are doing so out of knowing that Thanos will come, and when does, he wipes them out.

I wonder what the Kree ever did to Thanos, to make him feel the need to do so...if he does so.
