We don't know that much about the plot of the Wonder Woman movie at this point, but I can surmise it parallels the comic book origin and sees Diana leave Themyscira to fight with man in the First World War.

My question: To casual audiences more familiar with Marvel, and who are less familiar with Wonder Woman's origins than her iconic appearance, will Wonder Woman come off like a gender-swapped mashup between Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger, and is this is a problem?

Like Thor, it depicts a mighty warrior from a strange world inspired by ancient mythology who comes to man's world. Meanwhile, the setting of a world war (despite being the First rather than the Second in this case) might strike some as similar to TFA, mostly because it comes as part of an origin story for a hero who eventually returns in the present day to help form a superhero team.

We saw Howling commandos in Captain AMERICA : The First Avengers movie. Is Wonder Woman copying the same concept ?

WW's version of Howling Commandos ?

His roster of villains also included Wonder Woman's villains like Giganta, and others from the Legion of Doom.

All Marvel and DC characters are mashups of each other or just the exact same characters. It's because they play on the same archetypes and tropes in the characterizations and narratives, not to mention you have decades upon decades of accumulated stories. In the case of Wonder Woman and Captain America, there were interesting stories to tell in the early 20th century dating back to the earlier years of those publications. The characters, by virtue of their powers or other narrative devices, allow that indulgence. X-Men did it back in 2000 with the opening in WWII.

I don't think anybody really cares if they notice elements of Cap and Thor in Wonder Woman. They'll respond to quality if they see it in the marketing, and the hype and subsequent reception upon release will bear that out.
