Transformers Will you still see it???

Yes/No?? Or one of the extremist answers?

  • Yes

  • No.

  • Hells yeah! Opening day, first in line!!

  • Of course I will! Stupid question!

  • Only if Michael Bay dies and they get a new director.

  • Not even if you payed me what they're paying Michael Bay!

  • I will, but I won't let anyone see me, because they all think I'm a hater.

  • I'll wait for the DVD, but only because I can't leave SHH! for that long.

  • My mommy won't let me see anything above a PG rating, so, I may not get to see it at all.

I'm still concerned over several portions of the movie -
Like the junkyard scene in the beginning - totally ripped from Herbie Fully Loaded
. But I do think I'll probably still see it - though I won't be in a hurry to catch it opening weekend.

First day no matter what. Maybe twice in the same day. Plan to see it several times.

I will go see the movie and then base an opinion of the film after seeing it

Okay, this agitates me quite a bit. When I say that I won't see something, I won't see it. There are movies which I decided to boycott years and years ago, and to this day, I didn't even watch free TV showings. I might not be much, but I'm a man of my word.

I saw it in the theater and I cried. G2K was horrid.

BUT!!!

Godzilla Final Wars is farking awesomeness. MUST SEE Godzilla2000.

And Godzilla: S.O.S is great and so is Godzilla v Mechagodzilla from 2004.

Completely agree with all this, Advocate05.
Final Wars was brilliant... freakin' brilliant... yes, it a B-movie- but it brings together Godzilla's 50 years in a fantastic way.

But, as for TF... eh.

Final wars is brilliant if you wanted to see X-men psuedo martial arts instead of Godzilla fighting monsters....

Apparently Boywonder, theres a bunch or a select few take your pick.

I actually enjoyed Final Wars more than X-Men: Last Stand. Hell for that matter Equilibrium is better.

I liked the movie myself...i just didnt like the whole mutants and fighting that took away time from seeing Godzilla pounding on monsters

True.

Yet when Godzilla fought it was one of the best Godzilla fights.

Except how he took out Gigan so darn easy.

Godzilla pounding monsters for 45 minutes has been done... I dunno- a trillion times? The Aliens and Mutant thing was taken from other movies (Godzilla vs. Monster Zero, Godzilla vs. Megalon?-- or whatever it used to be translated as?)

Some parts were blatant Matrix rips... but then again, the Matrix borrowed from at least 3 other movies and several Star Trek episodes.

And Final Wars was a B movie. Some folks can't get passed that. They like their Michael Bay rip-synapses-and-leave-you-dumber-not-smarter movies.

???

Its a large lizard fighting other monsters, while destroying Tokyo. What more do you want? What do you want Godzilla to have a solique and talk about the ecological dangers of a radioactive 50 story tall lizard pissing in Tokyo Bay?

Yeah I will watch it. But I'll probably look away everytime Starscream appears on the screen. :(

I was defending the movie.

Then you are a moron with integrity. Only a moron forms an opinion without knowing all the facts, or without at least trying to gather all the facts available to him.

What's so moronic about not making someone else richer for making Hollywood Schlock. If every evidence short of actually seeing it suggests that you will dislike a movie, why go see it? Don't we have better things to do? Better movies to see? Maybe catch an indie flick at the arthouse. Maybe go to the museum or take your kid to the park?

There are lots of facts we have. The main one being that Michael Bay has yet to make a classic, beloved, movie EVER. Has he made decent eye candy? Sure. Was The Rock pretty good? Yeah, OK. Are they also some of the most universally panned "low brow" movies ever made. You bet ya.

One can always wait for DVD. Or cable. Or even a network or F/X, TBS broadcast.

He said he would never see it.

I highly doubt that.

Unless the trailer make it look horrible, I probably will. I hope Starscream doesn't waddle.:o

I gathered all facts available at this time, and they're more than sufficient. Thank you very much.

There are a couple of movies I've given that treatment already. If such behavior is somehow capable of shattering your perception of the world, you can still chose not to believe me, though.

No. I have never seen a Michael Bay movie in theaters and I never will. Since all of his movies have sucked, there is a good chance this one will to, which is unfortunate.

I don't think Bay respects TF, he's just making the movie another opportunity for him to inject his usual Bay-cliches into it.
I'm betting you're the one who voted "I will, but I won't let anyone see me, because they all think I'm a hater."

If so, you would have lost that bet. Your logic is...illogical. Why would I care what others think, and why would I want to appear to be a hater if I support this movie?
