Some VERY good news, we managed to find a vet who's performed medical procedures on cats before and we've been told us not being able to afford it won't be a problem for him. Thanks to you all for your support and please keep it all coming. Tomorrow we're taking our cat to see this vet and she'll probably undergo further testing before the procecure. Wish that everything goes well and she makes a full recovery from this. Thank you all again.

That makes me angry. What a cold hearted selfish *****!!! If someone close to her dies lets see how she feels if no one cares. Post her contact info so we can recommend people not to visit her.

Turns out the person who was supposed to take us to see the vet had a setback today so we didn't go. We're going to try again over the next few days. Wish us luck and thanks again to you all for the support.

Big update, took her to the vet today (a different one and one who seems a lot more experienced than the first one we took her too) and he confirmed her mass is not only a tumor but she also has an additional one (which the X-rays at the other vet didn't pick up on). He did however say she'd pull through this and her surgery is likely to be tomorrow. We're still on-edge about the surgery but have hope it'll go well and hope to report back soon with good news. Thank you all again for the support and keep the good wishes coming.

A couple years ago one of my cats, Toby, went missing, and he was mostly an inside cat so he always stressed when he got out. So we looked everywhere we could and put out fliers and checked shelters and went door knocking, but nothing.

Six weeks passed and we had pretty much given up hope.

So anyways, my sisters friend who lives around the corner from us was always complaining about this feral cat that was living under her house and fighting her cat and dog, and stealing her dog's dinner. This had been going on for weeks. My sis was over there one time, heard the cats fighting and went out to check on them / break them up.

Yep, turned out it was Toby! He is back now, and he is a changed cat, for the better.

So anyways, I hope your story can have a happy ending too

Her tumors were removed and from what we were told they were in fact cancerous but we got them in the nick of time before they could spread and become untreatable.
